How far we have come since these owners have come in, massive shout out has to be to the owners as we gone from championship to europe under them. Now the players we are linked with an buy is just a great pleasure. We have in my view 1 of the best managers in the world and a team that wants to do well. Plus to see Villa Park sold out every week is just so special. Buzzing for the season! UTV

Depends what stats you look at Whack and how you analysis them I guess - If we are purely looking at goals and assists then it doesn't make for great reading but he has a lot of underlying stats that would suggest he can bring his game to another level, maybe even two. Plus he's just turned 23 and still a very young player, I think people forget that because he's played for Man City and Barcelona already and is a full Spanish international. Being honest, and this isn't aimed at anybody on this site, I have no idea how any Villa fan would turn their nose up to Ferran Torres, there is absolutely a top drawer player in there and we have a manger who has proven he can bring players games to another level, personally I think this would be a very exciting signing if it happened - A loan with an option to buy would be a very sensible move by Villa.

Some of the prices mentioned is silly. We need about 6 players in total every player we are linked with is 40 million plus there no way we have more than 100 million to spend due to FFP rules you can only spend what you generate. I pitty our poor groundsman aswel all the events at Villa park ruined all the dirt there putting on it never a good idea just so they can got round on moto bikes.

Course we do mate we are massive lol. We havnt got as much money as rumoured so price as got to be right aswel but we will get good players in its about getting better slightly every season!

We are going for unrealistic targets. While I admire their ambition we are not in the Champions League we are better off going for Harvey Barnes James Madison get the both for 80 million I actually like Laporte aswel.

The issue with a striker is if we go big watkins won't want to sit on the bench and any top striker won't want to sit on the bench either. We in the same place as spurs are with Harry Kane. So keep Archer an duran I say just get wingers a rbk and a top class cbk
