Mate just sent me a vid on WhatsApp of Felix's agent on Spanish TV in the last hour saying he's coming to us, they spoke pretty fast and the subtitles were hard to keep up with but the gist of it is he's coming on loan and I think obligation to buy next season ??♂️
UTV
1.) 17 Aug 2024 10:40:01
Theres more chance me turning white than that deal going threw lol
2.) 18 Aug 2024 17:02:08
Same mate has said there’s talk of Ivan Toney, Andy Gray said it was something he’d heard and Toney been left out of the Brentford squad today but not injured ??♂️
UTV
3.) 19 Aug 2024 13:56:31
Sounds like your mate just reads all the same articles on newsnow that I do allstar.
Looks like Toney is definitely going somewhere but it won’t be us unless Duran leaves is my bet.
I’m not sure Toney would be any better than Duran, they are quiet similar type of players, Toney hasn’t being the same since his ban, with durans age I think we’d be better off keeping him
4.) 19 Aug 2024 16:44:29
Nah Whackie, if these were NewsNow stories I’d of started the post with ‘Apparently’ or ‘Looks like’ like everyone else does, these were 2 videos he sent, 1 from Spanish TV, the other 1 I think was whatever channel Andy Gray (the Scottish 1) is a pundit on
UTV
5.) 19 Aug 2024 17:44:44
99% of pundits/tv presenters are as plugged in as we all are, whether that's the work experience 'journalists' they wheel out every summer on Sky Sports News or their equivalent on Spanish TV.not at all other than internet rumours and the very rare occasional post from the small number of journalists who actualy have relaible sourced. Felix has agreed a deal with Chelsea.
6.) 19 Aug 2024 18:24:05
Well Felix is off to Chelsea
7.) 19 Aug 2024 18:55:05
Hopefully we can all move on now from the whole fiasco, I hope Monchi and Emery didn’t have all their eggs in that basket
8.) 19 Aug 2024 18:55:33
So what we sayin’ then? Lucky escape? I don’t get Chelsea at all, shouldn’t a No9 be their priority?
UTV
9.) 19 Aug 2024 20:01:02
I have no idea how much genuine interest there ever was in him tbh the papers have loved to push it, but there doesn't really actually seem like that much of an attempt from us considering every media outlet has said he was our most wanted acquisition. We knew the price and wage demands from the get go and don't seem to have done anything except maybe try and secure a loan for a season and get knocked back.
Its all gone quiet on the Geertruida front though it seems?
27 Jul 2024 18:11:11
Just been doing a bit of digging, this is verified too. Jaoa Félix is 'only' on £115K p/w, not close to £300K as reported. I don't think the fee we'd have to pay is what bothers Villa fans but the wages he's on, £50M or less and something around what he's being paid weekly now and that is deal of the century imo ??♂️
UTV
1.) 27 Jul 2024 19:29:34
I think ultimately we will get him but only because none of the so called ‘bigger clubs’ want him. For me as I have said previously I think he is too inconsistent and I am also sceptical about signing a player who doesn’t really want to be with us. I would much rather sign Raphina or Eze or being greedy both.
2.) 27 Jul 2024 20:13:24
I think he’ll come too, think we should embrace it, as I’ve said before, could become a legend, his best or peak years are ahead of him, maybe he’s got a point to prove, which can only be good for us ??♂️
UTV
3.) 28 Jul 2024 01:20:42
Sorry Allstar, I initially mistakenly read in your post that you’d been doing a bit of dogging which, up our way on Cannock Chase, is a particularly popular evening pastime - see Stan Collymore for details ?
4.) 28 Jul 2024 08:38:16

5.) 28 Jul 2024 09:14:06

19 Jun 2024 12:28:59
Just read that Spuds are trying to hijack our 'deal' for McKennie, buy him outright, so Juve will have an extra €15M they can give us then instead of him, sounds like if Carlsberg did transfer deals, then we're the winner here ??♂️
UTV
1.) 19 Jun 2024 13:05:49
The would be perfect as I don't like mackennies mindset
2.) 19 Jun 2024 22:35:12
Been doing a few searches and it’s looking like Juve are going to include (gonna call him for short) Enzo an Argentinian DM instead of McKennie, personal terms already agreed. He looks decent on TonevTube, played 36 games on loan last year, 10 yellow cards though, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing imo ??♂️
UTV
3.) 19 Jun 2024 23:39:40
Love the carlsberg comment 72, I have to agree I don’t like makennie whatsoever, sounds like a greedy fit aswel I think we are way better off without him
02 Apr 2024 17:46:59
My nephew txt me yesterday, reckons he's heard somewhere that Emery to L'pool in the summer is a done deal, and wants to take Dougie and Bailey with him too? Can't see any legs in it myself?
UTV
1.) 03 Apr 2024 10:04:23
Can’t see this happening Allstar, Emery already has experience of taking a job where his predecessor had legendary status at Arsenal, that turned out badly for him and he had to go away and rebuild his reputation so I can’t see him falling into that trap again. I think we are more at risk losing him to a club like Bayern who are having a bit of a rough time and are looking to replace Tuchel.
2.) 17 Apr 2024 22:59:01
Ruben Almerion will get the Job
03 Jan 2024 16:48:05
If we're after Ngonge, that's another left footed attacking player, unless he's 1 for the future or too good a bargain to turn dow, what's the point of signing him, we need a No9. Also, I'd keep an eye on the Couffal situation at West Ham, if Emery is big on his full backs being more defensive minded, there's not many better than him in the Prem, a cheeky £5M bid for someone who's stalling on signing a new contract might get it done ??♂️
UTV
1.) 04 Jan 2024 02:09:51
Ngonge plays as an attacking midfielder or a striker, making him a lot more versatile to Emery's needs, good for rotation and cover for injury and suspension in various roles. An exciting and useful player at a very decent price.
2.) 05 Jan 2024 00:16:14
Not sure how this one is going, it seems to be common knowledge that the club have accepted our offer, but their is conflicting reports on whether the player wants the move or not, with some saying he wants Villa and some suggesting he wants a move to Fiorentina, looks like we will have to wait and see where this one goes.

I'd say the ticket price was value for money don't you think.?
UTV
1.) 02 Oct 2024 23:56:08
Tell that to all the fans who couldn’t afford it UTV
2.) 03 Oct 2024 06:43:48
The pricing of the match ticket isn’t why there were fans who couldn’t afford it, every time you shop, put petrol in your car, turn the lights and heating on in your house is why ??♂️
UTV
3.) 03 Oct 2024 09:13:51
So the price of the tickets, they couldn’t afford it ??
4.) 03 Oct 2024 12:08:44
42,000 people could afford it so that’s the main thing, maybe some supporters who normally find it tough to get tickets were able to get them for last night, we can liken the situation to situation inside the club where we need more than 11 players to make villa a top 4 team, same with the supporters we need more supporters than the 40 odd thousand that go to the premier league games to sustain this push to break into the big 6.
5.) 03 Oct 2024 14:23:48
I'd also argue that if they can't afford £80 for a ticket, they probably shouldn't be spending £60 on one.
If funds are that tight for someone, that the extra £20 is breaking the bank, then it's not really the club they should be moaning about.
I bet those fans would prefer watching us play Bayern on TV than playing AFC Wimbledon in the EFL trophy at Villa Park.
6.) 03 Oct 2024 17:46:18
I find it difficult to agree with the comments of anyone who doesn't spend a penny down Villa park, if it has been in your blood for many years it's sad that financial circumstances now mean that they can't enjoy the special times those of us who can afford it are currently experiencing. Many have followed and spent money following the Villa when gate money was a vital source of income. I have two close friends, season ticket holders of over twenty years, their season tickets have increased nearing 300% over the last two years meaning they can no longer afford to go. If anyone can tell me this level of increase is justified, especially those who have had no personal financial impact with recent changes.
7.) 03 Oct 2024 21:23:09
A person who is good at their job and works hard expects promotions and pay increases. If their employer decides they cannot afford those expectations then the employee moves on to an employer who can.
Football is no different, players performing at Champions League level expect Champions League wages and the club have to price themselves accordingly.
I know football isn't normal, a fan doesn't change their allegiances lightly, but there is a massive sense of entitlement across the community. Imagine complaining that a band you watched in your local for a couple of quid became successful and is playing arenas for £60 a pop.
Nice of you to assume I don't support the club financially at all, but that's typical of your blind self importance.
8.) 03 Oct 2024 21:46:40
I have lots of friends that can’t afford luxury’s like champions league matches, hell I have friends who can’t afford mortgages but these are the times we live in.
You can’t have it both ways you want a modern club playing top level football and buying top players (cause you will do nothing but criticise poor players) but you want someone else to foot the bill for it
24 Sep 2024 22:22:46
It's funny seeing some reports of Arsenal considering buying Duran in the window for £40M, I think they'll find he's going to cost a wee bit more than that now. Would be prudent of Villa to offer him a new deal, I'm going to guess he's 'only' on about £20k ish per week coming from the MLS
UTV
1.) 25 Sep 2024 17:33:59
He will be tied down to a new contract soon, it has to be on the table
2.) 25 Sep 2024 18:27:59
I’ve said it before, time for JPA to pop into Bodymoor and talk some sense to him.

Missing Diaby yet? Missing Luiz yet? I'm going to go with 100% no ??♂️

I said we wouldn't miss dougie, and diaby replacement biddace he will come good

The Midnight blue colour with the silver trim looks very classy indeed. UTV.
2.) 13 Sep 2024 19:07:09
A near miss for me. I think I'd prefer the stripes to be the same colour, the alternating black and white feels a little weird.
26 Aug 2024 06:31:01
Will throw a name in there that could tick all the boxes apart from his age, for right back for the short to mid term, Kieran Trippier ??♂️

3.) 26 Aug 2024 23:12:59
Kyle walker, on a short tearm contract
24 Aug 2024 05:48:51
Isn’t this Sterling thing just about we haven’t signed anyone in the past few weeks so let’s just settle for him? Has Emery been chasing him all summer? I don’t think so so why should we go for someone not wanted by the club he’s with? You could also say Felix was not wanted by his club so why should we have gone for him? We don’t need Sterling, walk away
UTV
23 Aug 2024 15:25:41
I would rather have Southgate as manager than Sterling playing for us

Bailey is obviously not 100% fit, Philogene was suspended, we have Illing Jr and I’d say Maatsen could do a job on the wing. Right back we have the Serbian kid who’s finding his feet right now but I agree Justin would be a good addition to the squad. Look at our bench yesterday and the only ‘weakness’ there would be Olsen, he’s a capable keeper but we have the worlds No1 No1 ahead of him. It was just 1 of those days yesterday, not the time to panic
UTV
25 Oct 2024 05:12:03
Mings needs to come on as a mid to late 2nd half sub, as he used to play for Bournemouth he’d get a standing ovation from all corners of the ground, give him a career moment he’ll cherish
UTV
08 Oct 2024 05:55:45
Take this as you will but someone who’s related to someone who knows Olly has said that Ollie doesn’t want to leave, has never asked to leave, the only ‘circumstance’ in which he could leave is if Villa were offered £100M for him, so I’m assuming that Ollie/Villa have that as a release clause ??♂️
