Allstar where does Tielemens fit in to this hypothetical, surely not the bench? , i don't rate Harrison and a class striker and right back is missing. from the list.

It’s a squad game Scotty so you could ask the same question re Konsa, Digne, Buendia they will all get game time over the season. I like the team Allstar unlike Scotty I rate Harrison and I don’t mind Cash either although he does need competition. In terms of the striking position I would like someone to push Watkins for his place my first choice has always been Schick closely followed by Toney that was until his ban.

LOTM, most probably accept the Konsa, Digne, Buendia squad issue, however i don't think Tielemens falls in to this category, we haven't made him the highest paid player not to be a starter. Cash's shortcomings have been there for all to see, i see him as a squad player like the others referred to. A quality number one striker is essential if we are to aim for top six.

1 thing’s for sure, we’re going to have a cracking bench next season depending on who we get in. It cool for guys to have different opinions on players, I just put who I thought was gettable/been linked with, I’ve got a feeling that 1 or 2 from that line up might not even be at Villa next season, and I don’t mean Barnes and Harrison…?

My crystal ball is telling me Martinez and (on a hunch) Kamara might go, and I’m thinking both to Utd…? been talk about Moreno to Citeh, Cash to Athleticp, and if Watkins don’t sign a new deal by the start of the season then maybe he’ll be off at a premium too ??‍♂️

Scotty, Emery has already shown that just because your one of the highest earners doesn’t guarantee you a start you just have to look at how he used Ings to see that. In terms of where Tielemans will play, he can play a number of midfield positions as either a holding player or in more advanced positions behind the striker. That gives us options that said based on how we ended the season I can’t see him breaking up the Luiz - Kamara partnership so my guess would be that he replaces Buendia but as I say that’s on the assumption he starts I don’t see that as a certainty Emery will pick his side based on what he sees in pre season.

Allstar I’m a bit puzzled as to why you think Emery will pull the team apart, is it just because you seen some article somewhere stating it? If that’s believable then you have to believe every article saying that all these players are rejecting us cause we’re not in champions league, so my question is “why would Emery sanction the sale of any of our champions league level players when they can’t be replaced with similar quality?
I’d put my house on all our best players staying this year, Emi said at the end of the season “we’re going for champions league next year” he didn’t sound like a player who wants to leave, kamara could of went to a champions league team last year for free, he would of being snapped up but instead he picked a mid table team with a rookie manager, do you really believe he would now want to leave a team with European football on the agenda who have a world class manager, and Ollie won’t get a move to a champions league team until he starts scoring 20+ goals a season. Moreno to city? City don’t play full backs, cash to atletico was a rumour 12 months ago and no offer came in, he couldn’t even keep a 38 year old out of the team, give your head a wobble mate

Whackie? This is a rumours site, 99% of what we post about are rumours, I’m not saying Emery is going to pull the team apart, I’m just being speculative as to things I could see happening. These players have agents, think after this window things get a bit less profitable for agents because of some new rules that come in, there’s going to be a merry go round of players, not just at Villa as the agents will be looking for 1 more big score. That’s where I’m coming from ??‍♂️
