Yes I would Btw, its a shame I know, but he never really did it for me, he is a likeable lad, but not sure he is ever going to adapt to the English game.

Stay for me btw. Why take a loss of around 10 million on a young player who’s only going to improve, he was starting to find his feet before the injury.
Douglas Luiz has only just started to shine, and there were a lot of people writing him off before the lockdown. I think that Wesley can step up as Luiz has, and that a little patience is required imo.

Alright lads, i'm new here but delighted to have found this place. Villa fan since birth and both my Dad and Grandad had season tickets. I live out in Los Angeles now where my son and i are the only members of the East LA Villans.
On Wesley. Feel like it would be a classic mistake to let a player who we are developing go for a snip like that. He had terrible service all season too.

Yes I see what you are saying, he was lacking in service agreed, but as big as he is, he was always out wide, and looked lost, and rarely made the runs.
To be fair he may of been instructed to do that I suppose.

As had been pointed out already, any team playing to Ings’s strengths will reap the benefit. He has averaged a goal every 3 games at every club he’s been at, including ourselves, and that’s predominantly teams not playing to his strengths. I’d be interested to hear newly-updated Lord Of The Mings comments ??

If Watkins isn't able to start on Saturday or gets injured early on, who comes on and if this player gets injured, who plays up front. As Whack says we must have someone lined up but surely not before Saturday. We are short up front as it is, just seems strange not to wait till Monday, so we have some cover for the Southampton game.

The rumours around Vedat Muriqi seem to be hardening, he has scored 51 goals in 179 games 32 of those goals came in 66 games in the Turkish Super Ligue that leaves 19 goals scored in 113 games an average a goal every 6 games. I am not sure that is better or even as good as what we have currently, that said Emery must see something in him that will benefit the team overall but I have to confess to feeling a little underwhelmed by this move if indeed it happens.

LOTI unless we are getting a twenty goal a season striker we shouldn't go anywhere near. Like you i feel sorry for ings, i'm sure he will get a club quickly and still earn millions, so perhaps we shouldn't have too much sympathy.

I think we need to hold fire on being too critical Muriqi - On paper he doesn't look like the player we need but don't underrate him, he's a beast, fast and good in the air and his hold up play is very good, he's also got 8 in 13 appearances this season playing in the right system for him. If Emery wants him then I am fully in support of this as he'll undoubtedly have a plan to partner him with the more dynamic Watkins. He's been excellent this season by all accounts, some times players don't hit their peak until later in their career or until they are put in the right system. Don't right this guy off, think he could be a very exciting addition albeit maybe not the sexy natural goalscorer we all want.

Gotta feel for Mings, every day there's a new report stating that he's going to be replaced. He's our best centre back. Give the guy a break! Also see that Digne is fit again. Really hope he stays on the bench as Young definitely deserves to keep his place

Mings, Liverpool don't have a 25 goal a season striker. Salah plays wide right! Neither do Arsenal. So that just leaves Haaland. All the other teams share the goals amongst the team exactly like we do.

Jonny we weren't awful at all apart from 3 corners. Look at the stats! We got caught as we have caught other teams. Get a grip! If we play like that for the rest of the season we'll at least hold our position.
