Seen on sky sports app today that Brighton are monitoring Bogarde as a replacement for baleba, would be a shame to lose him but if it meant not selling any first team stars for psr at the end of the season it wouldn't be to bad for the immediate future, that said I had seen him as a future replacement for kamara whenever he leaves, retires or whatever.
what's everyone's thoughts?
Rather keep him for the future?
Sell him?
If so how much?
Take into consideration that Brighton want 100 million for Baleba.

I’d keep him, apart from the fee they were suggesting being low (£25 million) his salary costs aren’t that high and his ability to play several positions are a plus. Having said the fee for Bogarde is too low that’s in the context of the £100 million Brighton want for Baleba.
He is a decent player but £100 million never, if he is worth £100 million what price Rogers?

That guy Enzo we got from juve is ripping it up on loan, reports are describing him as 1 of the best CM in Europe right now, bad news for us as reports state he's only a couple of appearances away from a permanent move for what's described as peanuts, looks like we might have lost out with him, the signs we there that he had quality but instead we paid 50 million for Onana, these are the things putting us under financial pressure, I hope the new guy has a good eye for talent and I hope these young players get game time or we are just wasting our time.

Tielemans out for another 5 weeks apparently, that's going to hurt us he is one of the most important players imo

Diogo costa rumour circulating also. don't know anything about lammens but Costa is among the best in Europe I'd rather him to be honest, god only knows what our team will look like come Wednesday, going to be a busy finish to the window
1.) 01 Sep 2025 12:11:43
Whack, window closes today at 7pm not tomorrow.
2.) 01 Sep 2025 18:05:32
Lol what’s that got to do with the price of turnips?
03 Aug 2025 21:28:54
Here's a positive outlook for those disappointed with lack of signings.
If any premier league team signed Watkins Martinez and rogers it would be hailed as a brilliant window, same goes for us keeping them.
1.) 04 Aug 2025 06:52:17
Totally agree.
I would also add that Watkins having a break to recover looks almost like a new signing going into the new season.

Any takers for Bissoma?
1.) 29 Jan 2026 11:48:09
Decent player apparently shocking attitude so no.
28 Jan 2026 19:28:29
Garcia injured again, think it's time to ship him out in the summer it hasn't worked out for him at villa at all.
1.) 29 Jan 2026 05:38:59
Playing devils advocate here but you could say the same about Kamara, haven’t got my calculator in front of me but I’d say he averages about 3 months per season out injured ??♂️

2.) 29 Jan 2026 09:14:46
Fair point 72, the only difference is he plays pretty much every single game when he’s not injured, and he’s one of the heartbeats of the team, he’s also injured because of a bad tackle whereas Garcia is out injured because he played for 20 mins maybe I’m wrong but I didn’t see him getting roughed up, might aswel be flushing his wages down the toilet, cash never gets a break he’s not reliable enough even for cover.
3.) 29 Jan 2026 09:25:37
Kamara has played just over 55% of games since he joined us.
4.) 29 Jan 2026 13:18:16
Bucky had his calculator to hand ? they do say though, that you’re more likely to get niggling injuries if you don’t play (90 mins) every week

Super performance today, massive result, a real test of character, passing was poor at times but everything else was spot on, didn't look like Ollie's day but he kept going, I think they said it was his 6th goal in the last 7 premier league games, we give him stick for missing chances but he's still scoring, I hate criticising him he works so hard and seems like a good lad but he's also frustrating, Tammy will fancy his chances of getting in ahead of him if he can hit the ground running.
every player contributed today they worked their socks off it could of easily being 5-0
The subs had a big impact as well, even Bailey worked hard.
I love it that we beat them ??
UTV?

Ollie offers so much more than goals he chases everything down from the first whistle and never stops making runs in behind. If he scored every chance he got he wouldn’t be playing for Aston Villa. UTV
2.) 26 Jan 2026 11:35:57
Agree Tom, just wish he would have a little bit more end product, not just for us but because he deserves it and he’s so likeable, if anyone deserves to score 20+ every season it’s him
22 Jan 2026 19:50:56
Cracking win, should of being more but I'll take it all day long. UTV ?
22 Jan 2026 14:06:11
I read somewhere this morning that our revenue rose to just under 400 million and our wages have dropped from 90 odd percentage to 70 odd percentage after 24/25 season, hopefully that's helping us with financial regulations
1.) 22 Jan 2026 16:53:28
Love him or hate him Whack Heck done a fantastic job turning this around. This is why it's imperative that we qualify for CL this season as I've said before if we don't we are in shxt street mate and unfortunately this still don't help us for this season.
27 Jan 2026 09:11:29
Costa would be my choice aswel.
26 Jan 2026 16:51:20
No chance of 40 million we won’t even get 20 he’s 33, personally I don’t think he’s worth selling, we won’t get anywhere near his quality for the money we get for him
24 Jan 2026 17:06:01
There are some loopholes around signing youth players so it’s possible that although we didn’t make cash profit on him it could contribute more than the 3 million towards psr.
22 Jan 2026 16:55:19
100% agree I find it weird he hasn’t squeezed a few more games out of him, I think he’s trying to send a message to Liverpool that we won’t be buying him and that’s that, maybe trying to force them into renegotiating but I genuinely think he’s doesn’t want him at any price let alone 35 million
22 Jan 2026 14:03:16
The transfer fee seems ok but he would want big money, I’d rather raid the championship for an up and coming talent like we did with Roger’s, obviously Roger’s was an absolute gem and they don’t all work out like that but the risk is similar to Stirling and you won’t have to pay astronomical wages.
Liverpool certainly don’t seem likely to take Elliot back and supposedly he doesn’t want to go to the mls.
29 Jan 2026 21:54:44
And boom he scores ??

28 Jan 2026 14:06:52
That said if Harry Wilson could be bought cheap I’d take him
28 Jan 2026 13:24:41
Id take another CM if we could get a loan or freebie.
28 Jan 2026 01:33:46
Same here, I think we have a European spot pretty much in the bag (unless we completely capitulate) I’m going all out the league if for nothing more than the financial aspect for next year so we might have funds to build the squad up more.
I’d love to win the Europa league but there’s a great opportunity in the league this year, city haven’t be their usual and arsenal are rattled, they will lose some games for sure, it’s a shame we are getting some injuries as it just got tougher but still the opportunity is there
