I have two teenage season ticket holder grandsons that are born and bred claret and blue. Unlike me, they haven't missed a single minute of the pre-season games. I had to push them on our attacking strike force abilities. They both said Garnacho and Guessand definitely are not the answer to our forward threat.
Accepted it's early days and I'm sure players can improve with time, however let's hope Watkins, Buendia, Madjo and any new signings are able to keep us at the top table.

Brian the Beast is going to be let loose on defences from the start of the season, they are not going to know what hit them.
Estupinan must be staying at Milan. Looks like we're buying the Italian Ruggeri from Athletico Madrid.

Brilliant news this. He is going to bully defenders for fun. I'd like to see a few more of the younger guys kept with the main squad this season. Lots of potential there.

I have heard, guys, that there is a chance we send him out on loan to a Championship club for a season. I'm sure it's the right decision if that's what Emery wants. However, I think I would give him a chance in the first team. He looks a handful and can finish. Reminds me of Heskey.

Been looking at YouTubes of various players we’ve been linked with or already have, I’d say we’re in pretty good shape (if no one else of importance leaves) apart from left back cover/starter which I’m guessing Estupinan is earmarked for. Allyson, the more you see of him is a hell of a player. Why pay £35M+ for another tricky South American winger when we’ve already got 1 🤷🏼♂️.
Cisse looks solid too, & Madjo I’d even go as far to say if we can sort the UEFA thing, I’d start him 1st game of the season. Said before, the wild card I’d look to add to the squad would be Endrick, loan to buy, then with all that, a pretty exciting season to look forward to

A lot of talk of Jack coming back, im sure we will bring in a high profile player but is he now on the old side when we are looking to reduce our ageing squad.
Personally id have him back id like too see Emery coach the old Jack not the Jack that Pep has left behind.

Good run out, should have scored more, Big Brian at it again. Some of the young lads looking really good, Hemmings, Lynch, Cece all played well, nice to see Alyson get a good run. The keeper looks good as well, didn’t have a lot to do, but what he did, he did well.
Big Brian is just a beast, so strong and could have had a couple, you can genuinely see him, causing defenders trouble. Nice to see Ginny back, Garnacho looked a bit lost and frustrated, got to give the kid time. UTV.

Chelsea get £10M fine and suspended sentences for 74 breaches of the rules. Couldn’t make it up, precedent now set so Man City will get a slap on wrist and told don’t do it again.
So unfair when Everton and Forest got hammered with points deductions. One rule for big 6 and s*** the rest, what with this and PSR, why bother when you can’t compete fairly. It makes you sick.

... And if it isn't sufficiently effective at keeping Aston Villa (and other clubs) at bay, some referees can always be of assistance to aid the Big Six. The only thing that would gain attention and cause a stir would be a boycott of all games against the Big Six.

The problem the Premier League has is that if they hit City and prove them guilty, all clubs that have been relegated, lost out on a European place, or have been beaten in Europe by City will all sue the Premier League for allowing City to abuse the system for so long.
That would bankrupt the Premier League, which is why it's taking so long. They won't do anything.

Just reading that Carlos Espi is joining Real Madrid, been reported that we might have been after him, which brings me onto (& why not?) why don’t we try for Endrick from Real? He’s Brazilian, he’s left footed, not strictly a right winger but what a statement that would be? He was on loan at Lyon last year so maybe we could go the same route? Transfermarket has him valued at €40M

Matias Soule looks like he's leaving Roma. I think he would be great on the right wing.
He's got good pace, is a good dribbler, and knows how to score a goal or two. I think Fulham and Sunderland are looking at him, but obviously I think Villa would be a better option than either of those.
