Abraham, Garnacho, Bailey Guessand should be ok for another Champions League attacking force.

Hopefully they are all playing for different teams.
If that's what we are going to have, it's going to be a long season.

Don’t rate Garnacho. Prefer Gibbs White or the Croatia player from Como. I also like the Boubaddi from Lille plus Leao of Milan.

Latest rumour suggests we’re considering Nicolas Jackson. I wonder what that means for Tammy Abraham?
We paid £18m for him in January. If we were to sell him, what could we realistically expect as a fee? £10 - £12m?
His salary isn’t insignificant at c£100k a week.
Should we consider selling him?

I think we've been linked to Jackson as many times as we've been linked to Felix at this point.

If it was up to me? No. Not only do I not rate Jackson, I don't think he'd score as many goals in a season as Tammy would if they both had the same number of games.

Selling Abraham at a loss after just 6 months without buying someone who could either take Ollie's 1st place or really push him for it? Just feels like regression.

Same here, I wouldn't want Jackson, even if he was a free agent. Honestly, can't see us buying another striker unless we sell one. We need 2 full backs and a cm at the very least. A winger is also high on the list. I think we only bought Tammy because we were stuck for cover, but it now looks like a waste of 20 million.

Does anyone rate Rafeal Leao?

Quality player but always looks lazy off the ball, seems to have a really bad attitude also. I think his wages would be too much also.

What a very sad day for football with the death of a true legend in Kevin Keegan. No matter what your club, I am sure everyone will feel shock at the death of this lovely footballer. RIP Kev, you were one of the best, you will be missed.

Congratulations Spain, what an utter disgrace Argentina are, their antics after the game, just about summed their whole attitude up. Throughout the whole World Cup, they have set out to spoil games, with every trick in the book. Their spirit as a team is brilliant, but their attitude absolutely stinks. UTV.

How much are we going save in wages without Tielemans, Rogers, Digne, Sancho, Elliot, Bailey? It surely gives us room for a couple of higher paid real class players. Should be an interesting start to the new season with a different looking Stadium and a reduced capacity.

Can't wait, I'm off to Salzburg first so we should get to see our new squad in action against real quality.

The reason we are doing what we are doing, Scott, is to lower the wage bill so we comply with SCR. We can give new players a bigger signing on fee, but with lower wages, I'm led to believe we have a lot of wiggle room now, so expect at least another 4-5 signings in the region of 25-60 million.

For me, if we could land Rashford, Ferran Torres, and an out and out centre forward, Thiago at Brentford would be my choice, but I think he is probably out of our price range, and I think Jackson is probably more realistic.

I think it's a decent window, particularly if we could add a couple of loan signings as well. The key thing will be to get the signings in early, so Unai has time to work with the squad before the season starts.

How about this 1… Moussa Diaby? Transfermarket has him valued at €25M, I know you’re gonna say wages but maybe he’s set up for life now (by a long way) with what he’s been paid so far in Saudi, stranger things have happened… 🤔

Diaby was bang average.

Unless he's got space to run in behind, he's so ineffective. Please remember Leon Bailey kept him out the side.

Bellingham will take all the plaudits, but what a tournament Spence has had. After all the bad publicity he had after playing for Tottenham, his pace, energy and ability, has been a revelation. Felt sorry for Ollie, all the waiting, then gets put on the wing, with Tony the fridge freezer up front.

Great game, 10 goals speaks for itself. That was a bit arrogant by France, the space they gave us first half.

Gotta admit, when they lined up for 1 of the warm up games, I didn't even know who Spence was. Asked my pals who's that guy who looks like an extra from Mad Max. 😂 Fair play to him, already a folk hero now, I'd say. 👍🏻

I wonder what odds you would have got on a French win at half time?

Just imagine what England could have done in the last 4 years if they had a manager who actually had the balls to leave Kane out.
Movement creates opportunities, and opportunities lead to goals.
Son and Moura made Kane at Spurs and now he's playing for a club side that can pretty much walk it in most weeks.
No doubting his finishing ability, but that on its own just doesn't cut it at the top level anymore.

Plenty of players who can finish well enough but do a lot more alongside it.
It's not the first time an England team has put all their hopes on one player, but hopefully they learn. Spain might have Yamal, but they don't play like it's the Yamal show.

Allstar, Ollie would love that space at the back. Tony has got as much movement as a fridgefreezer. HaHa UTV.

100% agree both the above, worrying thing is the ages of Kane, Ollie, Toney, who's the next England up & coming striker? Can only think of Delap & his progress is gonna be stunted at Chelski.

Rogers, he already has the build, he just needs to be coached to do the unselfish parts of the game and be a bit more physical.
