Just seen on Rasta Lion Facebook, reckons Ollie stopping. Supposedly in today apologised to rest to rest of players, had meeting with Emery and trained with Tramzambi. Hope in a way it’s true, a lot of explaining to do, but would solve a lot of problems UTV.

I hope it's not true. I think Emery is probably thinking I will show those Wan***s just how good a manager I am by rebuilding a better side.
He has done exactly that at previous clubs, and I wouldn't bet against him.
My worry is that the owners might just get fed up at not being able to invest in success that they sell up.

Hi Allstar, I really liked Watkins and always stood by him even when he missed sitters. I now want him out of the door, you don't s*** on your team mates, manager, and especially supporters, when they are up against it.

Let him take the Saudi pennies and play against rich has beens.

We need a top notch defender to replace Konsa... not someone from Southampton. Someone with excellent experience, and who is always reliable. In addition, maybe someone Emery can build on and improve over the next few years as backup.

We also need to bring in a top notch striker who will score many goals and doesn't have phases where nothing is working (Watkins had such no-goal phases, where he looked like a confused opossum).

Would be wonderful if AV finally had a really good striker!

If Emery was going, he would have gone before now. With the upheaval we have suffered, this was always going to be a difficult season. We need 3-4 in before the window closes, and give Emery time to work his magic on the training ground. Ok, so we get hammered today. It's one game, it's not the end of the world.

Getting beaten 4-0 was bad, but I'm so disappointed with Watkins, I don't even care about the result. End of an era for one of my favourite Villa players in my years of supporting. Could have left with an awesome legacy. Actually, hope Saudi don't raise their bid and he rots on the bench till January.

Looks like agreement in place for Goretzka. He will be a magnificent addition to the team with his Champions League experience, and he will help with all the younger signings we've been making.
Signing him may also help Villa attract other big signings.

The amount of people on Twitter going mad about bidding for Taylor Harwood Bellis is unreal. I think we should buy him, because he is already a solid player, and once Unai has got hold of him for a bit, I think he will become a great player.


Don't forget he was the U21s captain when England won the Euros in '23, so he has good leadership skills and could even possibly be a future Villa captain once legendary SJM decides to hang up his boots.

We need Tosin Adarabioyo. We cannot compromise when it comes to such an important position. A prime player with top club experience to replace Konsa. Not someone we can build over two years or more - such a buy would be as backup.
