One thing that surprised on Saturday, was that the wolves did not have a plan B . They have become I suppose, that used to turning teams over, that when it didn't work on us, they where lost in what to do . Also I agree with all that you are saying about Bruce . He has certainly, turned the Villa around . The whole infostructture, outlook and vibe of the club has changed. Long may it carry on and take us back to where we belong . Dr T has certainly made his mark as well . With Bruce, Dr T, our brilliant players and our unbelievable support, who is going to stop us Onwards&Upwards Villaforever.

They seemed to just look to use the wide areas, and their wings backs constantly hugged the touch line. That’s largely why they lost, when they tried to hit the big long diagonals I’d guess only 3 or 4 out of about 12 came off, most the time they was over hit and went out of play and the other times their lads couldn’t control it and we either nicked it or they put it out of play. We did well to nullify their flare players like Jota by simply crowding them out, they always seemed to run into bodies if they took more than one touch.

Can't wait to hear the football phone in on wm tomorrow,
A wolves fan called pat said it would be a cakewalk and villa would be chasing shadows,
He is right it was a cakewalk but it's wolves chasing shadows😂😂.

Highlight was watching the 15mil, champions league standard, next big star in midfield, who liverpool and man united wanted. getting absolutely mugged the life out of by grealish, who wolves fans said wouldn’t get near their match day 18 let alone starting 11. As soon as Grealish got a tiny bit of success that was it, megged him once or twice, showed him the ball enough until he lunged in then quickly shifted it and left him on the deck. That was the best I’ve seen grealish yesterday, better than the Liverpool semi final, his running with the ball, his skills, his directness, composure and even his passing and vision was absolutely quality. Keep him fit for these last 10 games I’d back us to go up automatically. Imagine our options if Kodjia can get back fit before say the Cardiff game in 4 weeks time, we’ve got Grabban, Hogan, Kodjia, Grealish, Adomah, Snodgrass - that’s ridiculous. Since Bruce took over we’ve always been sound at the back but now we can really hurt teams and get at them.

Grealish is potentially top class
He has built himself up and does not get knocked off the ball like he used to be,
He is our tailisman and I'm really pleased for him.

So it's not just me who's allegedly got a man crush on him lol? I said potentially the new George Best, he took the piss outta them last night like Best did, I can see at least 2 Cardiff players getting a red card trying to hack him down when we play them, £100M+ player we got there at today's prices

UTV.

Grealish is playing really well at the moment, and I am sure he is one of the main reasons we are playing as we are.
I have to be honest here and say he does annoy me at times, he could be a bit more direct for me towards goal I mean, the guy just needs to add some goals to his CV.
I am not knocking him at all, he is becoming a very good player indeed, just shoot a bit more Jack, the goals will come.

Before yesterday I was having all sorts of worries about if can't get second place can we beat Fulham and or Cardiff in PO Final! ? We all know the answer now in that we fear no one and can beat anyone on our day especially now the top teams! Brilliant display and well done Bruce on tactics and side that now near enough picks itself! Work in the Black Country and can't wait for week of dingle baiting revenge! UTV.

Dean Smith would love his Brentford team beat Cardiff Tuesday to help his boyhood team villa,
And I think they could well do that,
I don't think they will lose the game in my opinion,

I think the team togetherness we see is no coincidence to the form we are on. As much as I was unsure about the signing of JT I think he’s a big part of that and credit to him. Bjarnason was quick off down the tunnel last night though, shame he didn’t stay out longer with the lads.

I think everything that needs to be said about yesterday has been said, playing like that we can beat any team in this league. Looking forward we've got 10 games left, the next 5, although 3 are away from home, we've got to be looking at 12/ 13 points from: QPR (H), Boston (A), Hull (A), Reading (Home) and Norwich (A) . If we manage that then the following 5 where we have Cardiff, Derby and Leeds at home and Ipswich and Millwall away we should be absolutely flying, the same way we was last night, and you'd back us to pick up another 9-12 points! I think if we can keep the levels of last night and manage to reproduce it these last 10 games I think we'll finish on around 92 points, in the last 5 years that would of seen us champions twice, automatic once and play offs twice. However with Cardiff's run in youd expect their form to dip, keep concentrating on ourselves and the next game and we should be up automatically.

Think we have got a great run in to end of season,
My only team I fear is millwall last game,
Might seem silly but hate to go there getting a win to get 2nd place,
We have a poor record there and just hope we are in 2nd spot before we play them,
But in present form we should fear no-one in this leaque,
Got a feeling Cardiff in next 2 games will drop points,
Fulham are my big concern they have the easiest run-up for me,
But win our game in hand and we are 4 points clear of them,
Exciting end to season.

11 Mar 2018 12:30:58
Win every game, we go up, I know mathematically that's incorrect, but it's true, time for us to be the 12th man, especially if we go a goal behind in a game, for every minute of every game, in it together fellas?

UTV.

Allyp i agree come on.

11 Mar 2018 09:29:31
Said about a month ago that top spot is still for the taking and people said no chance.
I was basing it on the fact that wolves hadn't had there bad patch as yet ( which every team has) and the fact that they would burn out physically as to lack of squad rotation.
They will feel the pressure now and we will take them.
