Had a quick look at wolves remaining fixtures and there's a lot of points to be dropped. Top spot is up for the taking.
Wolves away fixtures

Throw in derby at home and the fat lady ain't singing yet.

Don't you mean the Dingles fat Mrs?

2.) 12 Feb 2018 07:38:50
Think it’s only a matter of time before we start singing “mind the gap” to the inbreds.

3.) 12 Feb 2018 09:30:59
Can't see us catching wolves
They will be champions and will deserve to be on there exciting brand of football,
Just as long we go up as runners up will please me no end,

4.) 12 Feb 2018 14:22:31
Mainbob - could not agree more. Just need to stay focused and injury free.

Saw an article today listing free agents who are available.

2 stood out a million miles.

Samir nasri and Alex song.

Personally I think either or both would be great additions bearing in mind both are only 30 as well.

Anyone know anything about joe arribo from charlton?
According to reports we are going to sign him on a 4 year deal tonight.

Noticed how it's gone a bit quiet regarding the dingle side.
Are they starting to poop themselves knowing the Villa juggernaut is starting to motor.
Be interesting if the gap is down to 9 or 6 points by the time they come to Villa Park.

If Bruce does get the tin tac and we go down the foreign route then 2 names jump out.

Marcelo Gallardo

Michael Laudrup

Checked both managerial careers on Wikipedia, very impressive with both liking to play attacking free flowing football.

1.) 29 Dec 2017 15:02:18
Said Gallardo when everyone was talking about the sack after our poor start, he looks the business.

2.) 29 Dec 2017 15:27:57
Those 2 names would suit me as well,
Most of the successful manager's are foreign,
At least with these 2 you would see good football,
My preference is gallardo,

3.) 29 Dec 2017 15:37:59
Both would be great. But be honest I be delighted with any.
Next 2 games to save his job or he gone.

I agree walk the walk.
If we can get the gap down to 9 or 6 points by the time they come to Villa Park then it’s game on.
In this league every team has a bad spell and wolves are due there’s soon and they’ve been lucky with no injurie to there big players.

Agree with some of your points but end of the day if Bruce hadn’t put Jedinak as cb instead of Elphick that mistake wouldn’t of happened. The point I was making was that Brentford and Dean Smith have spent peanuts, didn’t win there first 8 games and thrown away the most points from winning positions and they are right behind us, says a lot about the progress under Bruce.

They didn’t win there first 8 games and they’ve lost the most points from a winning position because they don’t know how to hold onto a lead due to there attack minded play but he sticks to his beliefs and has turned it around.

IMO he would be a good appointment at least we will see more attractive football .

Who would you like to see as gaffer.

If you look at wolves away fixtures then to be honest I don’t think it’s just about 2nd place.
They will drop points and then see how they handle the pressure especially if villa can cut the gap to 9 or 6 points before we play them.

Getting into the England squad can go one of two ways.
He could thrive in the environment and kick on or it could go to his head and become a bit of a big time Charlie.
Think he needs to be patient and keep shining.

Remember what happened to lee hendrie when he got his first England cap? he was never the same player, thought he had made it and never worked as hard again.

Have you a man crush on Grealish?

On the plane to Russia?
£100 million pound player?
The new George Best?

I’ll have a pint of what your having.

Point 1

He is playing in the championship against average players
When we were in the premier league he wasn’t exactly ripping it up week in week out.

Let’s see how he does when we are back n the prem.

Point 2

On the plane to Russia?
Way to early for him
Maybe the next World Cup or the euros if he keeps developing.

£100 million come on, even the way the transfer market is you can’t tell me that Grealish is better than Eriksen ( spurs ) or Mahrez, alli etc etc

As for the George Best comparison
Not worth a reply

Like saying gabby in his heyday is the new van basten

Listen, I want the boy to be a world beater but this is the ridiculous amount of unnecessary pressure that us villa fans are starting to put on him.

Doesn’t matter when we are 4 up.
It would only be a consolation.
