Just read that pep wants grelish and Kane. If grelish dose go this summer I think it will be to city. I also see that they want to get rid of silva Sterling and mahrez, if they go so will grelish. Maybe a swap deal could be on the cards 😂😂.

1.) 31 May 2021 22:38:23
If city pay 150 million for Kane I think we shouldn’t accept a penny less than 150 for grealish given the age difference, also jacks importance to our team and the longevity of his current contract, we hold all the aces in my book. I would be interested in mahrez but not the other 2. look at Sterling I’d say he has to regret leaving his boyhood club, yes he won leagues but he would have a champs league and premier league if he had stayed with Liverpool, I think jack will stay another year at least and see how much we progress this coming year.

This is a big if but imagine your in jacks shoes, our owners invest again significantly this year, we break into the europa league places and invest again, go on to win the competition the following year, would you rather win a competition like that as captain and being the talisman for the team or move to city and maybe win a league or 2 and an odd cup? Totally hypothetical question I’m not saying that’s what I think will happen just curious as to your opinions, I’d rather win something smaller with my club than go to the big club and just be another cog in the wheel even if it meant winning more.

2.) 01 Jun 2021 00:14:51
As you say hypothetical, but as you say, if Jack honestly thought it was possible, I’m sure he would prefer the later . To be captain of the club you’ve always supported and have a go at Europe, would surely be his dream .
Onwards&Upwards Villaforever.

3.) 01 Jun 2021 15:49:24
Whack, if I was good enough to play any sport professionally I would want to test myself against the best both in terms of international football but also domestically so whilst I would want to play for my team, a point would come if I couldn’t fulfil my ambitions with my club then I would look to move on. Given what Jack has done for the club then if he does want to go then we should let him but only if our price is met.

You need to be careful quoting a price on here when I had the temerity to suggest that this time last year we should if someone came calling for Jack be asking a similar price to what Utd were being quoted for Sancho I was told I was talking b####### and promptly censored, clearly the Ed’s like you 😀😀😀.

{Ed001's Note - there is just no point in editing Whack's post as there is so much nonsense in there. For starters Sterling's boyhood club is QPR, not sure he would have won anything if he had stayed, certainly can't see him having a Champions League medal.....}

4.) 02 Jun 2021 21:22:56
Sorry Ed I was meaning Liverpool and I thought I had read somewhere that he was a Liverpool fan as a boy but upon researching it he was a united fan, not sure what else you call nonsense as I did say hypothetically speaking and not claiming that it would come about but who could of imagined vardy would win a premier league medal with Leicester before that season. maybe your referencing the price I quoted but we can all have our opinions on that as it’s an opinions page and the only real opinions that matter are NSWE and they won’t sell cheaply. personally I don’t think any player is worth that much and certainly not a 28 year old but if someone is willing to pay it then fair play it’s good business. KDB is the only player in the league that I’d rather have than jack right now, maybe foden aswel but city wouldn’t sell him for any less than 150 million in all fairness.

{Ed001's Note - I was joking Whack don't take it so serious. I wasn't meaning you to take it to heart mate.}

5.) 03 Jun 2021 10:14:56
Lol ok Ed we all good so 👍.

03 Oct 2021 15:28:32
So poor defensively.

1.) 03 Oct 2021 15:43:59
Add passing and first touches to that aswell!

03 Oct 2021 13:14:30
I'm thinking I win today hopefully they play the same against us as they did last week 3-0 villa come on! UTV.

11 Sep 2021 17:45:07
Jed steer will loose us this game so poor.

1.) 11 Sep 2021 19:01:14
He’s so slow, absolutely useless, barely championship standard let alone premier league.

2.) 11 Sep 2021 19:22:39
Thought it was a very good performance but my word steer is a donkey.

3.) 11 Sep 2021 19:37:31
Well plenty of good points to take away. But we had better hope Emi Martinez doesn't get injured.

4.) 11 Sep 2021 19:45:37
Yes yes yes yes yes people agreeing with what I have said about steer for ages and I stared at the pre season game against Walsall the pile was donkey rubbish needs to go.

5.) 12 Sep 2021 09:50:33
He should have saved the first one, other than that, what did he do wrong? By the same logic, Martinez should have saved the first against Watford, he never got any abuse?

6.) 12 Sep 2021 10:44:42
Chris he should have saved the first one he should have also done better for the second. The third he dives after the balls into the net. He also flapped in the first half and nearly cost us a goal. Commanding of the area not there. Decided to come for a ball he didn’t need to also stayed at home when Chelsea cleared the ball and allowed it to come all the way back into box when he could have come forward to played the ball earlier. Zyeki shot he catches the ball to the side of his head if thst slips through his hands it’s the net. His ability to pass the ball well I’ve seen 3 year olds pass the ball with more power. When balls comes to him to pass the ball wide he kicks across himself technically shocking. Please don’t make me continue the man is a useless donkey and needs to be gone. And a mayor factor is the defence don’t trust him. You have your opinion on him that’s your thing mine personally he’s one of the worst keepers I’ve ever seen in a villa shirt. And before you bring up the rubbish bout him getting us up again and did we rubbish on him no we didn’t he’s not good enough end of story. Also and a major thing here sinislo the youngster would be higher up the keeper order if he didn’t get injured last season while on loan. Steer is still at the club on 2 factors sinislo is young and lacking bit of experience and cause Heaton went. He will be replaced and I will be jumping for joy and if you want to attack me for saying that go ahead cause i stick to my guns he’s a rubbish donkey and needs to be gone.

7.) 12 Sep 2021 11:02:08
Also chris here you go here’s the rating for him maybe take a read and take note.

Jed Steer: 5/ 10
When tasked with the responsibility of filling the influential boots of the isolating Argentinian. Emi Martínez. it seemed the Englishman between the sticks lacked conviction. It started off poorly as he was slow off his line to thwart Romelu Lukaku from sliding the ball under him to open the scoring, before being caught on his heels from an undercut pass from captain Tyrone Mings. There is some more trying to find them and show you the rest.

8.) 12 Sep 2021 12:16:10
Rob, you’re clearly pretty passionate about Steer, which is fair enough.

But the second goal is Mings failed back pass, the best keepers in the world concede that same goal 10 times out of 10, no one else’s fault other than Mings.
Then you’ve talked about him making a save and said “if that slips through his fingers it a goal” - surely you see how absolutely ridiculous that is? if my aunty had balls she’d be my uncle comes to mind.

He isn’t the best at all I’m not saying he is, but you seem very strangely against a back up keeper who seems a good fella, who has done us well in the past (I know you don’t agree he helped us get up but facts are facts he was the keeper for 10 games unbeaten and three wins in the play offs, and won us the penalty shoot out to get us to the final - fact, no opinion) . Are you sure it’s not personal between you and him? ?.

9.) 12 Sep 2021 12:56:23
Chris the back pass from Ming seas under hit yes but if you notice what steer does he goes to the ball the goes back then stops and gets caught in no mans land.
My point about the save was rule number 1 as a keeper get your body behind the ball. Yeah I do have a strong opinion against him your right he’s not good enough to be our back up that’s my point.
You keep praising him for helping us get up. Well done him have a look at the 14 goals we conceded in the games he played in and 7’of them he is a fault for. During those 14 games he had 30 shots against him 14 goals conceded he was facing a minimum of 3 shots a game so don’t try say isn’t something personal cause I’m stating the ducking faults he has and thst he’s not good enough so don’t try giving me rubbish and do everyone a favour and take the he got us up rose tinted glasses off and look at him properly. He’s simply not good enough but you think he is okay let’s see next week when he most likely play against Chelsea and see how many errors he makes.

10.) 12 Sep 2021 12:59:47
Also chris I remind of you a game last season against Arsenal away exactly same situation as Mings and steer yesterday it was McGinn under hit a pass to emi and partey latched on to it and by the time partey looked up emi was on top of him making the save but yeah all world class keepers concede that goal 10 times out of 10 do me a favour give your head a wobble and go watch good and world class keepers and take your head out of steers arse.

11.) 12 Sep 2021 13:27:13
No rose tinted glasses here, just giving my opinion and backing it up with facts. You don’t seem to be able to handle a different opinion and despite my attempts of keeping it as banter, asking if it’s personal etc you are getting a bit too heated and rude saying things like “take note” “do everyone a favour” etc over a debate that let’s face it has no baring.

Usually I’d continue to my point of view forward and give some back up as to why that’s my opinion, but the way your trying to take this and after the news we all got yesterday I really haven’t got the energy. So I’ll leave you to it, enjoy your Sunday muck and maybe just calm down a little bit?.

Results have been disappointing so far I agree. But when the injured players come back we will be looking very different Bailey traore, Watkins. I think buendia would play better down the middle. Some very tough games coming up but hopefully we have the players back fitter and fresher.

That's how I would start plenty of pace and that's what we having been missing I feel team is too slow when trying to counter. UTV.

Looking to Newcastle my starting line up would be

Cash konsa mings targett

Watkins ings Bailey.

1.) 16 Aug 2021 13:24:58
Utv, i would send a message to the whole team and play Tuanzebe at right back and Hause at left back, Deano needs actions not words to show he has a ruthless edge right from the outset. Players would then learn very quickly that any performances like Saturday will be met with decisive action. The changes in my opinion would strengthen the team against Newcastle and kick arse in the meantime.

2.) 16 Aug 2021 14:19:52
Scott that’s a good call however I think with targett it’s a confidence thing cash I have no idea but hopefully will pick up some form maybe even axel is a CDM role who knows only deano.

3.) 16 Aug 2021 15:25:02
Bang on Scotty, that`s exactly what I would do.
I agree it would probably ruffle a few feathers, but we have to be more ruthless and positive with team selection.
Or even play Freddie at right back, and try Axle at DM until we bring someone in.
Either way players need to know they have to perform, if not make way for someone who can.

4.) 16 Aug 2021 16:15:17
Same I’d swap both full backs, last game of preseason they were awful and they continued it into the Watford game. Both were brilliant last year, but that doesn’t mean sit on your arse and admire it, you have to keep pushing to be on top of your game.

Start Traore an all, even half fit he’s better than El Ghazi.

5.) 16 Aug 2021 16:59:35
Good to see you back mate,

6.) 16 Aug 2021 17:07:15
Was a bad day at the office Saturday and got to agree that Hause and Axel is a good shout, defenders defend, attackers attack

7.) 16 Aug 2021 18:41:54
Thanks Scotty 👍.

Agree about Traore as well Chris.

I think el gazi should go never really rated him to much 1 good game In 5/ 10 is not a player we need. I don’t think we need another winger personally with buendia young Bailey traore and trez when he comes back from injury I think we are well stocked I would like to see another midfielder come into play hopefully JWP.

I don’t think he will be gone that soon however maybe at the end of the season. I don’t personally want him gone he is one of our own and done wonders for this football club look at how far we have come. If we lost the game and he didn’t make subs we would all be moaning that he didn’t make subs. Win some you lose some onto the next one!

Agreed disappointing however was a terrible display for the most part the whole team was poor for me wrong choices. Bad passing terrible first touches second to every ball no fight. Let’s hope it’s a one off as next game it’s the dingles!
