So only 3 new players can register for champions league, mine are as follows.

1. Diasi because we are stuck for defenders and lost 2 champions league registered defenders in jan window plus Konsa can back up cash while injured if Diasi starts at center
2. Malen because we own him and need to keep him happy.
3. Rashford because we have an option to buy and he will be annoyed if he's not given the chance now.

We can't keep them all happy so Assensio misses out in my choices, his move seems more like a shop window move to me when we don't have a buy option.

Don’t know if it’s true or not, but a couple of the reports did mention an agreed future fee for Asensio. it would make sense that we would at least retain and option to buy if the plan is to put him in the shop window for the summer. Just sensible negotiations
