UEFA sight says if 5 of original 25 leave club 4 new players can be registered and if 7 leave 5 can be registered am l reading this right?

Yes B36 you are correct.
From Sky sports….” They signed five players in January but crucially also let five players from their List A leave the club at the same time…. That means, under the rules above, they can register four players”

Yes Scotty l would think Malen is disappointed at missing out and so should any Villa player that has missed out.To say he thought he would be a dead cert to be in the squad/team l do not agree with.No player is guaranteed a place in any squad/team they have to work for it. It’s part part of being a professional footballer.Now he and whoever else missed out need to go out and prove Emery wrong.Which would be great for us fans and AVFC as a club.On the watching the Emery’s latest presser thing .I’ve watched them before and after your comment on here just to see if l could see what you were seeing/reading in to his comments body shape or if he was spiky . But l did not not see nothing that you did.We all know everything is not perfect at the moment otherwise we would be top of the league and in a cup final already. As it is we are 8th in the league 4 points off a champion’s league spot with nearly all the teams above us still to play . Like l said before things are far from perfect. But l see a manager coaches recruitment team and owners trying dam hard to put things right and as is football only time will tell . I’m just enjoying the ride because l know these times don’t come round much with our beloved Villa let’s just hope the club Emery and the players can give us the same end to the season as last year with a European place and who knows a ??

Just been told you can register 4 players if 5 players have left the 25 and 5 if 7 have left is this true
