I hope not, rhodes has made it be known he favours wednesdays' brand of football, so if he ain't happy coming here, he can stumble on somewhere else, seeing as he's having such a stellar career so far, what with proving he can cut it in the prem. and all that!

I would say that Bruce is already working on a lone deal and if Ross McCormack leaves he would purchase Rhodes in addition to his lone deal, I don't think Rhodes could possibly be as bad as McCormick as been in fact Doug Ellis would have done a better job up front and he would of at least turned up.

3 signings Bruce has made so far totaling around 7 mill and all look good acquisitions hopefully the sign of things to come in this and future transfer windows. Think it shows Bruce's player and league knowledge and the board getting the deals for the right price. Feeling positive.

I think with Bree in and the other two very close Bruce is finally getting the missing pieces to the puzzle, maybe just a striker to bring in now

We need a centre half who can read the game, is good in the air and can organise what we have as a defence at the moment. i'm guessing most of the best ones are under contract and their clubs wouldn't want to sell them anyways, so why not utilise a player who can't get up and down the pitch like he used to for all of the game.
With sound positional sense, a good header of the ball and puts himself about, why not convert Jedinak to do the job? Bruce could pass on his knowledge of skullduggery and the dark arts, so he plays as a defensive midfielder as normal, but when we need to throw on an attacking midfielder or a striker, elphick or whoever could be sacrificed and the 'Jedi' could step back into the role.
A bit of a mad idea maybe, but people said the same thing about when dion dublin stepped back into defence., just putting it out there.

It's a good idea, I suggested it in a back 3 a while back, can see us going a 4-1-3-2-1, Jedinak in front of the 4, our complete new midfield as the 3, take your pick of the 2 behind Kodjia as the 1, No10's or wingers, whatever happened to 4-4-2 lol?
