in regard to old bilbo mchaggis, its simple, sheffield wednesday want him, let them buy him and upset their dressing room! we should include a years supply of whisky and brandy so he can enjoy his favourite tipple, job done!

24 Jan 2017 22:26:24
Haven't seen this but would be brilliant as long as it's selling him, recoup 8mil to spend on someone whilst derailing someone else's play off hopes because the fat lazy gnome is eating all the canteen food an the players are starving!

25 Jan 2017 00:46:22
celtic fan here lads, has that person mccormick got out of his electric gates yet? what a clown! the guy was summed up by being a boyhood celtic fan and signing for rangers (not that we would've wanted him to sign for us anyway) he's just a lowlife bringing shame on a massive club like villa.

anyway enough about him lads, the best of luck for the rest of the season and i hope you get promoted back where you belong, all the best lads.

25 Jan 2017 09:39:01
Jamesbhoy67, cheers for that, but are you sure we can't tempt you to buy him, he had a great understanding with dembele at fulham, you could re-unite them, imagine! -somehow i get the feeling the superhoops might take a while to get that deal done, not so much 'on yer go', as 'on your bike'!

25 Jan 2017 13:39:46
haha nice one class of 82, no chance we would sign him, he's a clown of a man, i can't see a guy like bruce taking any nonsense off him. he's at one of the biggest clubs in england. he should be knuckling down and striving for promotion, but he's just mucking about just trying to engineer a move to a lesser club. it's a pity roy keane isn't at villa anymore, something might have happened to mccormack's health probably around the jaw area lol.

25 Jan 2017 18:23:20
Jamesbhoy67, say what you like about roy keane, but he's a fair judge of dodgy characters and lightweights and if you change your mind about ross. i'll buy his plane ticket myself - ryanair of course, so he ends up nowhere near glasgow!

25 Jan 2017 18:57:47
that was my point, keane would've sorted him out big time. god bless roy keane.

26 Jan 2017 01:13:00
Amen to that, good luck to you and brendans'green and gold army, history in the making!

24 Jan 2017 20:45:20
Looks like kodja will be back with us very soon, Morocco doing us a favour

24 Jan 2017 20:24:25
Hope Kodjia is on is way back?
Morocco just took the lead.

24 Jan 2017 20:51:10
Looks to me like he will be backby Thursday

24 Jan 2017 17:16:01
Nobody wants Ross McCormack Fulham players told the manager they don't want him back because his a bad influence. If i was Bruce i wouldn't of been so public who wants a guy who don't show up for training and is a bad influence?

24 Jan 2017 18:16:05
Steve Bruce can`t do right from wrong here, I think he has handled it very well, show the bloke up for all his failings, he won`t play for another club like Villa again that’s for sure.
He would not recognise a great opportunity if it smacked him in the face, Get rid asap, Some club will have him even if we do take a hit on him, “not wanted go away”

24 Jan 2017 17:28:32
Think Bruce didn't have any other option, said himself his never had anything like this in 20 years of management.

24 Jan 2017 19:00:31
Do you think the FA should give the clubs more authority on situations I mean we spent a fortune and it looks like he will either go on loan or if nobody wants a destructive influence he will sit out his deal let's face it his 30 anyway so if he chooses to screw the club won't affect his career as he will prob retire after! We need to do more research into buying players we seem to attract scumbags!

24 Jan 2017 19:18:34
Yes I do, I do not agree with everything Collymore says, but he puts a good point forward on this issue in the press this morning.
Players have far too power, it has to change look at Payet, shocking behaviour.

24 Jan 2017 19:54:35
I know it won't happen, however personally I would sack him and then take him to court for breach of contract .

The likelyhood is that we have possibly paid 6-8 million upfront with the rest based on appearances etc etc . What ever we have paid to Fulham should be paid back from McCormack's own pocket .

These horrible little heckers need to learn the meaning of contracts and obiding by them as it's what they have signed up for!

I agree its time the clubs made an example of these con men

25 Jan 2017 12:29:21
With stuff like this i always say the same " if you was to act like this in your real job what would happen to you? ". Fact is your arse would be either bouncing down the road to the job centre or you would get a written warning.

Why in gods name do footballers think they are any different? Stop treating the feckee like children who your scared to upset and tell him straight "sort yourself out or your gone" plus surely refusing to play or train is some sort of misconduct and we should be allowed to sack him off without a payout ( but then again i live in my own little world where people don't sue you if you speak your mind, sorry rant over now)

25 Jan 2017 15:53:53
The issue is yes we could probably cancel his contract but who wants to lose so much money in 6 months, the club would rather sell him or loan him out in the hope of him hitting top form again and then selling him on. Lose the initial fee to Fulham or loan and possibly recoup a few mil down the road

24 Jan 2017 14:35:36
How has the Klingon managed to find another club?
Let alone in the premier league!

24 Jan 2017 15:31:00
Not a clue.
That's my thoughts and a summary of his style of play last season.
One thing is certain his agent is worth every penny😳

24 Jan 2017 18:31:26
He's on a 'short-term contract' so they should have got rid by Sunday - if they've got any hope of staying up that is .

24 Jan 2017 18:30:01
I think it's a good move for us, Carlisle is a bit further but it's still far enough away for us to not care who he's going to ruin next?
