Well we made hard work of that, that was a very tired performance . Samba had a good game and some of Huttons tackles where brilliant . Taylor had, I think the worst game iv seen him have Every thing he did looked laboured . The big part of Onohah's game is his movement and energy, it just wasent there tonight . Davis it just wasent his night, even changing his boots didn't work . Albert worked his socks off and Snoddy also worked hard . Over all a scruffy win, but a win . Also the other results went for us tonight . I reckon the Jedi will be back in against Ipswitch, Weelen took a couple of heavy knocks . So Brucie get the rested and back up for it on Saturday. Onwards&Upwards Villaforever.

Terrible performance but a win,
Hutton again mom for me,
Love him or hate him never gives less than 100%,
And that tackle in second half reminded me or bite your legs hunter in years gone by,
Same players as Saturday but completely different performances,
Still the main thing is 3 more points.

21 Nov 2017 21:41:16
Wow what a close game apart from a lucky deflection nothing to choose between the two teams, just shows how far we have come with Bruce.

21 Nov 2017 21:52:24
So was that a dig about Brucie?

21 Nov 2017 22:02:12
Sounds very much like it to me ken.

21 Nov 2017 22:08:15
What a clown. So good to have the positive poster again!

21 Nov 2017 22:13:54
I was wondering because

Maybe he meant we’re hard to beat! But then again he was probably being cynical

I’m not the biggest Bruce fan but I support the club

Surely it’s about winning no matter how we play?

We win and still people moan . Jesus give your head a wobble

Sunderland have injuries galore but also have a new manager so it was always going to be a hard game.

21 Nov 2017 23:32:24
Other than the deflected effort not much between the two teams? Did we win one nil, must have dreamt Alberta goal my bad.

22 Nov 2017 08:50:46
Whatever performance we gave the most important thing is we won and another 3 points in the bag,
Yes we passed the ball very poorly and the tempo was missing but hoping we are at full pelt for Ipswich,
Up the villa!

21 Nov 2017 16:07:50
No excuses tonight,
Sunderland have a big injury crisis with there best players all out,
Complacency is our main concern,
Must start with a high tempo and get that early goal,
If we do that I'm confident we will win,
But these are the type of games where villa foul up big time,
Very disappointed if we drop any points,

21 Nov 2017 17:02:17
I don't worry, we will seal the win, really. I think that it will be 3-0 to Aston Villa. Sunderland doesn't have much chance in this match, even with the newly appointed Coleman.

21 Nov 2017 18:11:39
Heres hoping we can keep the winning mentality going for tonight coleman may have a few tricks up his sleeve. Take nothing for granted and stick to our game plan we should be okay. They have a number of injuries which again in our favour. same side as the weekend and we should come away with the spoils. UTV.

Why drop O'Hare from the bench but keep Bjarnason

Bruce won't play him

Surely the lad would benefit more?

21 Nov 2017 15:17:51
Lads, what do we need in January?

Judging by comments made by Bruce it doesn't appear we have much to spend - That being said, where do you think we need to strengthen?

I think a striker is a must - I know he has been absolutely abysmal for a long time now, and yes there is the West Brom link, but would any of you consider a loan move for Saido Berahino?

21 Nov 2017 16:10:26
Saido leave well alone for me,
Why
Would like this hugel from Preston but we can't spend much money unless Bruce gets rid of players.

21 Nov 2017 16:58:45
Ulloa doesn’t even make the match day squad at Leicester, got to be worth a bid with 1 fit striker. Terry should be back around then so no need for a centre half. I think we have a very good settled squad, only place that jumps out is striker because of injuries and then a back up left back. Could just see who becomes available, the way the Snodgrass deal happened.

21 Nov 2017 19:12:37
Following on from above, who will be moving out?
