I’m getting to the opinion that selling him may be for the best. He’s been dreadful so far this season and ended last season poorly. Problem is lack of time for a replacement but I can only see his value plummeting if he continues playing like he is

All players loose form from time to time, but Rogers looking like he’s playing for a move . Suppose it’s his agent, telling him he doesn’t owe Villa anything and have a big move . Rogers hisself has said that he does owe Villa anything, but agents can change minds UYV

In an ideal world you wouldn’t want to sell anyone but we aren’t living in an ideal world so I think if we try to generate an auction for Rogers get in excess of £80 million, and replace him with Asensio that may allow us the flexibility to get another player in plus a couple of loan deals done. SCR permitting of course!
