I have no problem with people having concerns over the deal to sign the club or any area of Aston Villa for that matter; we are fans, not cheerleaders
However, if you do have concerns, can they be articulated/ explained a little better?
Saying it "looks/ smells or feels dodgy to you" doesn't really take us anywhere.
What, specifically do you object to; why do you object to it and what do you believe are the possible consequences are of not heeding these vague warnings of doom?
Put some meat on the bones.
I for one would be genuinely interested.
What I don't find interesting is a vague feeling in someones water.

A local paper has found info from Companies House revealing that a new holding company has been created, listing Wyness, Hitchkins, Samuelson and Xia as directors.
Holding company is referred to as 'Recon Sports Ltd' and new directors are listed as registered on 27th May.

Calling Kingvilla, someone sent me an email saying the fella who set up reconn uk ltd to do the deal for dr. xia was a fella called alan hitchins, documents show he was a director for only 2 weeks and then left (after the deal was put in place), now i know there's nothing unusual with that, the rainmaker comes, then goes when its signed, but my mate said this 'rainmaker' hitchins is a vet. surgeon by trade, and that he's got history doing deals with chris samuelson, surely this can't be right, if you look a bit further it doesn't smell of roses fella, before you say it, i'm not scare mongering, its just that we're so close to all moving in the right direction heirachy wise, this news is a bit left field and i just want to make sure nothing is going to stop the deal being ok'd by all involved financially, what do you reckon kingy?

Right then The Brain, firstly i have had to re-register to answer you, was classof82 but back on under really, doom and gloom for the last 6 months, your right, i don't know where you been but just to highlight, our main striker resembles jabba hit the hut, we sold 2 players and brought in half of europe, surprise it didn't work, we changed manager for the foreign brigade, didn't work, we had richards berating our fans for daring to criticize his half-arsed performances and an owner with nothing but apathy, geez, i can see why your aptly named, who'd be cheesed of with that, and now we have a new owner;who uses a man whose main job is shown as an animal vet to be a director of the company who buys us, and then he promptly resigns, no problems there eh? i wonder why bernstein and king resigned;doesn't that send up a flare or two, an owner who says he knows about football, saying we'll be top 3 in the world in three years;yeah, and i've just bet on lord lucan winning next years derby riding shergar, then the owner brings on born christopher samuelson, i tell you what The Brain, look him up, see what you find out, yes the money is there, but its all a bit too vague to inspire confidence, for me if bernstein and king walk away, i think i trust their opinion more than a pet vet who helped get the deal over the line and then slinks off, but hey, you pick the bones out of that and spin it your way, i'll look at it with caution first, your right, congratulatios, i'm wrong, i'll be a very happy man.

Hey think i hit a nerve end there Lol, great rant but what it all adds up to I have no idea. I was just saying that over the past few months you have continually put the dampers on just about everything concerning this takeover, I think if we signed Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale tomorrow that you would still manage to find something that your not happy about, sometimes you have to sit back and go with the flow and see where it takes us, It's ok to say "this might happen or that might happen" but to say it to everything becomes tiresome. You know what, IF my auntie would of been born with testicles she would of been my uncle, life is full of if's but you can't be suspicious of absolutly every developement without expecting someone to say "here he goes again"

The Brain, your right to say i've had a dampner on this and for peeps to say'here we go again', but this is yours and mine;all ours, villa thru and thru, i WANT this to happen, but square pegs don't fit in round holes, hitchins is a vet. surgeon, a noble profession indeed, but do you not think its a bit mickey mouse that dr. xia, who people tell me is mega rich, would use a vet. surgeon as a director who then skidaddles when the deal is done? to me that spells MOODY, then we have chris samuelson who has a chequered past, do you think someone like him should be anywhere near our beloved club, REALLY? if the american authorities are keeping tabs on him why the heck would you want any association with him? the chinese place a lot of emphasize on saving face, yeah dr. xia, working out well, the papers will have field day with this, and the club i love will be dragged thru the mud, when it hits the fan i'm not going to say i told you so, i'll just zip it and be gutted all over again, and i get no joy at all, i'm gutted.

Alan john frank hitchins, --if this man's name is mentioned at all from now on as being part of dr. xia's board of directors or has any dealings with our club as of now, then it doesn't bode well, scary thing is he set up the reconn ltd group uk for buying our club and was a director for 2 weeks only before resigning, no laws were broken but for a vetenery surgeon by trade it seems a bit odd, i'm sure kingvilla will explain it away (and i hope he does, really i do) but he has been in business with christopher samuelson before, i'm not scare mongering i'm just asking the question as to why dr. xia used this fella, and yes, i'm sure there's a logical explanation.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, xia is just a front man for far more dubious characters in the background namely Samuelson.
Something is extremely dodgy about this deal and I'm feelin more an more anxious about what the future holds.

C) say he is not genuine
So he has advisers, and people who he trusts to help him, don't we all?
So these guys have been involved in previous clubs, and failed, perhaps they have learned a lesson.
I for one welcome any experience.
To throw out things are dodgy, corrupt and underhand because you don't like the look of it, with out facts is stupid.
To imply you think things are dodgy, boarding on criminal because you don't like the people involved is madness.

I can tell you for a fact that Samuelson has made other attempts to buy villa, one of these was a Swiss consortium last year which failed because they didn't have the money, Samuelson has been involved in several other failed takeovers, he has also been investigated by the FBI for money laundering
My guess is that he is the real driving force behind this takeover an my concerns are that this guy will not be here for the love of the club, he will be here for the money and failing that the clubs assets, money is in my opinion being borrowed to finance this deal and any transfer pool will be based purely on parachute payments for the next few years, should we not get promoted promptly you can be certain the clubs assets i.e body moor Heath would be in serious danger
Dr xia is our Carson young, he has cash but not a lot, has lied about being involved in the Olympic stadium then the Olympic forest! Well I can tell you he didn't even have any accreditation for that.

I like your optimism though, don't forget I love this club too, I've been going to watch them for close on 40 yrs now, had a season ticket in 86 when we went down, we all want what's best for our club an we all want some guy to come along an bring back the glory days but I'm afraid these guys are defiantly not here to invest money.

My optimism is not blind hope, but yes, I am optimistic! I am a glass half full man, however, I don't doubt your support, or faith in club, but many, and I'm afraid if the cap fits. Seem to want this to fail, or live in a world where at has to fail, as all things go sour.
This guy is buying a club in a different continent let alone country, and we are questioning the hoops he's got to jump through.
He is, I agree, doing it to make money, and the only way, the only way that can happen is by us being a success.
