Heres 1 for every one if fit green or snodgrass it has to be green because he has pace to burn and has a decent delivery he just needs to add goals and stay fit . but would be good as a sub if things aren't going well same with grealish.

Just been reading back on some of posts and I'm shocked, walkies and Co want Bruce sacked even if we go up to the prem, why would he get sacked he has built a decent squad over 2 windows spent very little in the summer, these are the people that wanted hutton, Whelan, terry, out of the team and now claiming that they knew they Bruce was right in having them in the squad the tearm Sing when your winning springs to mind with you walkies, I would love to know how many has left this site because of the likes of the dribble that you post walkies if people could block your posts the fans with something interesting and logic to say just might come back Rant Over.

Credit to Bruce and the boys for last night's performance best for sometime. So we have seen two performances over the last four days, which is to be, tactical inept long ball game from Sunday, or free flowing sharp passing from last night. We have the highest salary bill in the championship, we deserve what was served up last night, unfortunately we have had far more Sunday performances than the latter. So let's judge Bruce after more consistent performances, we obviously have the players so it is the coaching that is questionable, for me the Jury is still out and I hope to be proved wrong, however I think WTW will be proved correct.

Good post villatrust, you articulate what a lot of us are thinking. There is still an underlying wave of critisism against the Bruce totally unfounded and the negativety still exists even with the run of results we have had. But hey ho mate most of us can see the real deal. Heres hoping we get another win in the bag tomorrow. VILLA FOREVER.

So back in the Top 6, 6 points off the top. With 3 of our next 4 games coming at home we have such a good chance to start racking up the points. Last night we did look the business, albeit against a make rubbish Preston team. We have real competition for places and so many options, 4-4-2, 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 like we saw towards the end of the blues game. Keep this momentum going.

Got to say that is our best 90min performance this season,
Everybody played well some brilliant.
Terry was immense,
Davis was very good again
Whelan his best game for villa,
Hutton outstanding
Onomha very good
Adomah had a quieter game but ok
Elmo very good
Johnston good
Snodgrass had a much better game,
Houlinan was ok but was more defensive than usual
Chester immense
So a very pleasing performance and now let's get another 3 points on Saturday
Up the villa.

Longstang Chelsea supporter who is SO pleased JT is playing well for your great old club.
The guy is pure class and in my opinion the best central defender England has had for years but I’m biased as he will always be a legend to us Chelsea fans.

Well said Tomb, JT is still a magic player and thanks for the good wishes. Thought we played really well every player but against a depleted preston. They had key players out. It still had to be won though and we did that well. In truth we could have bagged another two or three. They had a shout for a penalty, not sure it was though. Now let's see how we do against wednesday come saturday. Onwards and upwards villa forever.

At last a convincing and dominating performance against one of the fancied teams away from home! Villa defence was superb tonight and Davis ran an impressive line. Pressure was on tonight with slipping out of the top six and this group of players all stepped up! Looks really promising in that we can not only keep a clean sheet but also on the break do some damage! Next test bring on the Owls UTV.

Have to say villa look so much better with Davis up top,
I prefer him over kodija mainly down to his holdup play and bringing others into game,
Very impressed with him and I just hope he stays with us for years to come,
He looks class.

Just needs to watch his temper was lucky not to walk. Good to see Bruce talk to him when he was subbed. Good man management. Agree with Hutton the Scottish Roberto Carlos now. Everyone played well last night, Whelan settling into his role now and with the defence holding strong onwards and upwards utv.

Yes Davis has a temper but not a bad thing for me,
Much prefer that than a player who shows no emotions at all!
