This julio tavares who again we are linked with could well be worth a punt.
He is 29 yr but has a 1 in 3 goal record in France and would cost around 3mill,
Abrahams can't make up his mind about dropping into championship so why not go elsewhere,
He is a very physical guy who could be a success in championship,
Bruce tried to get him in summer window but failed so I would try again,
Shame he is not younger but you can't have everythink.

Not convinced by Bolaise, would prefer a younger player with a view to a permanent contract.
Woods would be a significant sign of intend if we could manage it, that would be the best MF in the league, comfortably, if he arrived.

I'm not convinced about bolasie either not for 15mill and 70 grand plus a week after loan period,
Plus he is 30 next May and thought we were going down the mean young and hungry route for players, .
But we do have very rich owners now but ffp must be a concern,

It does seem strange that we buy 2 proven goalscorers in the championship yet they both are not doing it for villa,
Mcorkmark and Hogan should be in our squad doing what they do best but!

But they haven't done it for us. Plenty of players just don't work out at different clubs. Veron for Utd, Benteke at Liverpool, Hernandez at West Ham. Will Hughes has struggled since leaving Derby.
Sometimes players just don't fit certain clubs.

A couple of weeks ago when dr. xia was still the owner and we looked like the sky was caving in, some questioned whether bruce would stay, he did, and he persuaded the likes of grealish and others to keep the faith, and behold, we now have new owners, as for wrong formations etc, i think a big problem is that we have TOO MUCH choice, mad though that seems, when a squad is smaller its more settled, and it builds its own rythm, i think with so many players the choice causes bruce to sometimes play someone who may have been great in training during the week, but isn't in the groove on match day, hence no rythm or understanding sometimes, look at any squad that is winning and its consistently the same 7-9 players who make up the nucleus of the team barring injuries etc, so maybe loaning some players out doesn't make sense, but it may improve our consistency, let the pelters begin! -and by the way, we're 2 points off the lead, hardly end of the world territory, lighten up fellas, there's a long season ahead!

I agree we are only 2 points of the lead teams,
By the way Bolton are also with us at top end of table,
What I'm saying we could quite as easily be near the bottom given our luck in winning the 2 games.
I keep saying bruce gets my backing but it's wearing thinner by the week seeing the same inept performances and the same after games speech by bruce,
The Brentford game will tell us how far we have come.
They have played us off the park now for many games now and If we sit off them again we will lose the game in my opinion
Get stuck into them and I give villa a winning chance,
