I genuinely don't think we need another striker, another CB would be nice along with a RB. Gestede, McCormack and (if played there) Ayew could be big this season. If one of our CB get injured we will need solid replacements.

I think we do need another one just in case one or two of them get injured, although I think you could get a young striker on loan e. g. Wilson from Man Utd.

I think he was originally named on the bench yesterday and then changed with Baker (who isn't fully fit) late on. Also explains, sort of, the lack of attacking players on the bench.

i don't think he's worth the money or time to prepare him for the hoofers' league, we should get rid and try and buy or loan an experienced winger from the leagues. no offence to the lad, but he could end up as our 'darren anderton'. also i believe he has a number of incremental clauses in his contract related to games played (i know, if he ain't playing that means squat) and loyalty bonuses, question is, will anyone take a chance on his fitness?

i agree with most on this page when they say we need a second striker, we need another proven goal scorer.
now i would love it if liverpool loaned us the big lad back but that's never going to happen so who would everyone else like to see coming in?

3 games in and it is easily arguable the keeper has cost us 4 points already, he's made some decent saves and looks promising but that is the one position you don't want promising you was a seasoned professional who isn't going to cost us points, hopefully he either steps up or we sign pantillimon or someone of the like.

Cost us 4 because we could have won both games instead of drawing, he also pulled off a few really good saves before so he didn't cost us anything really.

Well he can't be blamed for us not scoring against Wednesday surely.
And the goal yesterday was VERY unlucky.
The Championship is a great place for him to learn his trade rather than sitting on the bench. Just hope this doesn't cost us promotion. It's a risk that I believe is worth taking.

yesturday 1st half great 2nd half the players lacked fitness you could tell we are not used to tuesdays where this striker the mad doc promised? also this gk has played 3 games and cost us 2 with near enough the same mistake when in doubt row z can't afford to many more mayb be a good idea to bring in a experienced gk like we should have done in the 1st place derby will be tough i would take a point! also special credit for everybody in the 10 min was great such a shame we couldn't hang on an win 4 him!

Great atmosphere tonight 10th minute was special and credit to the away fans they did their bit too.
Chuffed for McCormack first of many and first half we were too good for them by a mile but didn't put away our many chances. Ayew should have had a hatful but truth is we are getting better every game and RdM is building his team.
Atmosphere was top drawer and the players responded from the first whistle. More of the same boys UTV.

What do you boys reckon to zak clough, i think he would be a great signing, still at bolton (i believe) and i don't think we'd have to pay mega to nab him, people say he reminds them a bit of being like peter beardsley (without the jimmy hill! ), and can play a false number 9,and as a number 10,with a good eye for a pass;and a goal or two, surely worth a cheeky bid?
