Will we get the 3 points today?
Burton have nicked points off a few good teams and are capable of doing it again.
We only just won at VP and they will gave a spring in their step today.
I want a win but may have to settle for a draw. 1-1.

They have certainly taken points of some good teams oldvillan. I am hoping we have to much in the locker for them. With the momentum we have created and the clean sheets, think we will take the three points. here, s hoping mate. COME ON YOU VILLA.

Well you got that result spot on oldvillan. Was hoping we would take the three points. Bit gutted that it has stopped our run, but hey ho onto the next one.

This should now quell the talk of us sneaking into the play off places
I'd like to see one or two of the best youngsters given game time to see if they have any real ability as our season draws to a close
Not in the derby though. I want the strongest team possible for that so that we can play our part in sending them down.

Love to see Lyden get a start if his fit enough after injury. Green was close to a start but apparently he's injured that's why he wasn't on the bench yesterday.

Your right mendax, I'm all for blooding the youngsters and bringing them through the ranks. we have a lot of talent there.

Clarat53, I'm never sure if we do or not mate.
I've been hearing about a lot of talent breaking through since the Moore brothers. Nothing much has materialisedin reality (both Moores were ultimately disappointments)
I've never gone along with the "throw them in, they can't be any worse than what we have" mentality that has pervaded this site for the past few years while we have struggled. However, we have a few games now where it is safe to experiment a little and see just how good the very best kids are. I'd love us to uncover a new Sid Cowans in the ranks personally (and maybe a young Tony Morley if I was being greedy)

Niall Mason seems a player, played majority of games for Doncaster this season who got promoted last weekend. I rated Toner when he played last year and Green when he starts a game looks very good but as a sub he's always off the pace of the game. Some people get carried away with our youth, I've seen them a few times (they often stream their games live on Facebook) and a lot of them aren't great, but given the platform I think a few, emphasis on "a few" could become good players. Not sold on Hepburn-Murphy yet, all he seems to have proved is that he's stubborn and got a bad attitude, however he's back tonight for the under 23's so will probably score a hat trick and make me look stupid.
