Must say that all 4 of our new signings look good.
Just hope we can get another quality midfielder and forward too.
Add Adama and Amavi to the equation ( they're like 2 new signings when fit ) and the future does at long last look bright!
My wishes for this season are promotion for Villa and Wolves and for Walsall and the Slumdogs of Small Heath to swap divisions.
Not asking for too much, surely.

1st of all iam going to do somethink i don't do very often. an that is a apology to all the members of this site! i admit i have been negative maybe sometimes i was right maybe sometimes i was wrong but iam delighted things are moving forward now all the talk was how rich wolves was on wm an there richer an going to be better well i hope we prove a lot of people wrong an go straight back up! i know ient the easiest person to get on with but my hearts always with avfc let's roar these lions on an get back to the premiership where we belong!

Im very pleased with our latest signing Mcormack, out of all the strikers he is the one we needed to get. Well done Dr Xia for shutting me up! I think he will be awesome with Ayew, respectfully Ayew is a higher quality player who will only make Mcormack better and i expect 20 plus from him. Hopefully now we can add à few more before the dealine. Good to hear us all singing from the same sheet, now let's all get to Villa park and show this Championship lot what a REAL atmosphere is all about! Never mind Leeds and Newcastle we are Aston Villa!

I just had to come in and tell you something that was said to me years ago.
Back in the late 50s early 60s my long departed dad said to me and the family that "We (villa) have never been any good without a Scotsman in our team".
I recalled what my pop said this morning when it was confirmed we had signed Ross McCormack.
Looking back his words have been pretty much spot on, so I am going to stay with the belief that my dear old man was right, let`s hope that he is right hey.
I have a real good feeling about this signing, better than Bent ever was IMO, two feet, heading ability, creates his own space, technically good, pens and free kicks, only has one thing on his mind, drives forward and scores goals.

You must remember that Hutton even though he is Scottish was surrounded by a bunch of idiots that’s why we were so bad mate.
You do need a half descent set up to start with.

1st time I saw Hutton play and he was still at Rangers, playing for Scotland against France I think, he looked the complete right back, wish we'd have bought him then, it was around the time we were messing around with De La Cruz or Bardsley

I think Hutton will be a good player this year. Always gives his all fair play to that not the greatest baller ever but I think commitment is key in this league.
