I read with interest the various combinations for Saturday's game at Blackburn so we could scupper the blue noses survival. Just play a combination of the team who played against Fulham and the blues that should do the job.

Against the blues? Did we lose mate?

There are worse at the club than gabby mccormack and a few others that are complacent and are fighting for there place.

There are many players that should be looking over their shoulders for SB approaching with "P45's. "
They seem to have the ability to "turn off" before the end of the game.
Arguably SB should be moving on a lot of the high paid team members and the non performers to reduce the wage bill which is bigger than nearly 50% of the prem.
The present players may not be good enough to get us out of the champs.
Clarke left quickly and we spent to get in two new faces but Clarke has been a great success at NUFC. Why did we not keep him?
SB is now in place and I would guess his out list is longer than the pitch.
Who would you ship out?

Clarke had a release clause and wanted to go, same with Gana - nothing the club could do about it. No one moaned when Clarke went, him being at villa was stale, for the club and him.

He had the worst tournament at the euros and was responsible for them getting pumped by Belgium, diving in on the half way line and getting turned inside out in their box. He was awful last year, absolutely awful. It was best for everyone that he left.

agree with above Clark always looked like an accident waiting to happen in claret and blue.
before next season we must ship out
Richards, Kozac, Gabby, Gil, Vertout, Bunn, Golini, McCormac, and possibly Gardner and Grealish and Amavi Elphic.

This would possibly raise £30 million need
new keeper
left back cover
centre half cover
creative mid fielder
Striker
The Kids need to step up and be counted as well.

That's 12 out and 5 in, definitely not what we need. We need stability, not a repeat of last summer, look where it's left us. Selling 12 and buying 5 leaves is 7 worse off, look at the squad we had across decemeber and January, injuries come and you need replacements, this year we did not have them, by your plan next year we would have to forfeit games due to not enough players.

Sell as Bruce sees fit as some players (Gil definite quality, untried in this league) may still be useful, and Buy quality players he wants. He is the most successful manager this league has ever seen, if he wants a team of brutes then give it him, give him what he wants and as he has proven time and time again he will get you promoted.

Don't understand how you can support this club and try and use any blues game as an estimation of where we are at the minute. We have been at our worst and beat them, we have been at our best and lost to them. If you want to see brilliant promotion winning football then yesterday isn't the game for you.

And if your anything other than buzzing from yesterday then I really do question are you really a fan. The only three things you can take from yesterday;

1) The City is ours
2) They are going down
3) Gabby Gabby AGBONLAHOR

that's all that matters as well.
You can add a fourth point that the Tavern need to open the bar at the bottom of the garden and sack the bouncer next time, if you want. please have a day off and save the moaning till next week, enjoy this for now.

Hi Chris i wasnt putting a downer on it iam delighted more than most that we beat that we beat that rubbish. Its just I have been watching and analysing games as of late and i see room for improvement i see where we are going wrong and where we are going right. I loved beating the blues but let's have it right a club like us shouldn't even be playing that rubbish from small heath i think next season we have to buy better players simple as that 15 million on hogan 15 million on Ross McCormack let's be honest that's 30 million wasted If we want to go up we can't afford to waste 30 million like that.

24 Apr 2017 16:10:30
Couldn't care less if we played the worst I'd ever seen an the ball went in off someone's back side, we just beat the blues. No more analysis needed on that one.

24 Apr 2017 18:13:55
suppose you're right chris, come on Blackburn.

24 Apr 2017 18:50:20
Wtw, hogan is definitely not a waste of money, he'll be lethal next season as long as bruce plays to his strengths, that hinges a bit on whether kodjia's agent can flog him to a 'bigger' club? - remember he's 27 now, this summer at least 10 forwards will be moving from top clubs, and that will filter down to clubs buying strikers to cover positions, so his agent will be doing his 'best' for his (own as well as his) clients' interests; one more big pay day.

i hope he stays but i think the writing is on the wall, but wtw, give hogan a fair crack of the whip fella, he won't let us down, and if kodjia goes, and everton don't try and include tammi abrahams in the deal if they sign lukaku, maybe abrahams would a good loan signing?

Spot on Chris.
