IMO we need proven players not players from foreign leagues. i'd love to keep onto Amavi and Ayew but I can't see it happening. Personally would go for Gayle, Dyer and Christie from Derby (rb)

Gents really? This bloke has too much baggage with us and has proven time and again that he has not got the ticker for the big occasion. We need a leader as our number 1. What I mean by that is a keeper who installs confidence in his defenders. Guzan has never done that and I hope that he never wears the shirt again.

Steve Hollis deserves our thanks? there must be something in the water i'm guzzling, because from where i'm sitting his brief was hardly exacting was it, come in, say whatever randy wanted him to, get some people in to show where jobs were being duplicated and thus cut away the excess.
by the way, i feel the way they treated those who had been loyal to the club for years was a disgrace-and yes i know they got paid for the job they did but even so, no class show by likes of hollis, 5 knuckle merchant-hollis is just a slash and burn merchant dressed up in a nice suit spieling out platitudes when needed.
he was that good an inspiration bernstein and king washed their hands and walked away. the mans a blow-hole, come in, calm the fans down, and put the business on simmer till a new owner was found, oh yeah, cheers hollis, i'm sure you did all that with no thought of a big lump of money and a little bonus too! and before you all say, yeah but it needed sorting, to make the club more efficient.
i can't argue there, and he did what was needed, true again, but he's been handsomely paid for it, raising his profile too, so job done, sling your hook, why people are thanking him i don't know, remember him jibber jabbering about the new owner dr xia (who as you know i've fought long and hard for people to accept him! ) being at the head of 5 business'.
what sort of numpty doesn't do due diligence before publicly announcing that?, what a doughnut, no, i don't thank hopeless hollis for doing what any competent accountancy firm could have done, it goes a bit like this.

bit harsh on holis there 82. the guy was a massive part in our takeover. I agree villa treated the workers bad with all the job losses but that's what happens in takeovers and it was hardly holis fault.

xia is involved in around 25 company's 82. 5 of which are listed so holis was right there. he was not the controling party in 4 of them yet though that's where the mix up was. he has around 20 private buisnesses as well that's not listed. he also states he can sell a lot of them for around 500 to 700 million as he did tmax a month or so back.

Kingy i can't fault you on your research, thanks for taking the time, but when someone makes a statement and subsequently it emerges that they've been a bit economical with the info for me alarm bells ring, i 'm also a believer in you are the company you keep, you lie down with dogs you get fleas, and the company he keeps isn't shall we say 'stellar', so if he says he has x amount of business' he can sell for 100's of millions, i looking to see when his pants catch fire, so let's see what happens but just to echo my breathern on here, why are we shopping 'bargain basement and freebies', what message is that sending out, to our rivals and more importantly to us fans, it ain't right kingy, and you know it.
