To all the Mings is rubbish get rid brigade, what do you say after that dreadful defensive display without him?

Spot on, I do not get the Mings criticism.

2.) 16 May 2021 16:22:35
I think the Mings criticism comes from off field behaviours rather than onfield personally.

However I think he’s quality, both on and off the pitch and should be captain.

3.) 16 May 2021 21:55:51
Mings reminds me of Paul Elliot but in reverse, Elliot was shocking at the start of his time at Villa, then became a Don before we sold him, Mings is not getting better, if you compare him to Konsa. I like Mings and if we had to sell 1 player that we could get stupid money for, it’d be him over Grealish, Emi, Konsa etc, just my opinion 🤷🏼‍♂️

UTV.

I think you’re right Chris. There seems to be an agenda. Many of the things I find so admirable in him as a man seem to trigger a lot of our fan base.

Mings is a high quality central defender. He has mistakes in him, but also has good recovery speed, he’s brave and he’s strong. Mostly though, he’s a phenomenal leader and organiser in our defence. Konsa has developed into the player he is because he’s playing alongside Ty who’s constantly talking and helping him. I honestly believe with him (and Cash) today, we win that game. Yes, we lost it in midfield and we were hampered by anonymous Ramsey and Traore. But with Ty’s commanding presence we’d have defended far less scrappily and been less passive, I’m sure of it.

just wanted to say RIP Ian St John a truly great footballer of the old school who became a really talented pundit alongside Greavisie.

my thoughts go out to his family and the Liverpool football club for their loss.

Not defending him Dave, he got punished he paid damages, I was just pointing out that footballers are generally not the brightest and will let themselves and the fans down.
We just need to put it behind us now and accept that off the pitch he is a bit of a t-t.

Sorry mate, I think it is a mix up with our explanation of our posts. Its the first time I have seen the actual incident today, it refreshed the mind, and it brought home the severity of it all.
If he had gone onto the open road, he could have killed people, and to tidy it all up, that is inexcusable.

Lets get over this, Jack is paid to play football not split the atom.
Footballers are picked for 1 thing only and it isn't their IQ.

Pluffy mate, Hope you are well, and glad to see you posting again.
Have you seen the footage, I wonder how many of the people defending him, would feel the same if it was THEIR CAR he hit.
I rest my case.

Lso dad to read today that Sid Cowan's is suffering from early onset dementia.
I am sure we all wish Sid and his family all the best for the future and our prayers are with him and all the other ex footballers who are suffering with this vile challenge.

Hi VillaWizard Villa were never near bankruptcy unlike the last 2 owners Lerner and the good Dr.
Also to question his intelligence when he isn't around to answer you shows your lack of intelligence.

Hi WOW, I think Wolves are looking at FTP and thinking if they are promoted the Premier League will do nothing and the ELF might just fine them.
This is basically what happened to QPR when old Harry got them promoted, unfortunately for them they slipped back and were fined £40m which nearly bankrupted them.
I suppose it might be worth a try for the Villa if we could buy a good finisher and a good midfielder and then get promotion.
Let's face it if all you have to worry about is a fine when you are in the Premiership its small beer.

Hi Diamo have to agree that Wolves are, in my opinion the best side in the division and will get promotion.
I have to disagree on the support.
Last night was your biggest gate since 1985 and is considerably lower than the Villas.
Mind you I would accept lower gates if we could play the same football as your lot.

A great day to see Brian Little back, at last a bit of sunshine on a dull season.

Hi Mike
I said last year we should have had a temp manager and I was shot down in flames, I still believe this is the way we should go although not sure about Peter Withe.

I remember my first Villa game, I was 10 and my brother who was 14 took me to see Villa ply Spurs at VP.
We lost 4 - 2 and Greavesie got 2 and I thought he was the greatest and I always had a soft spot for him.
Superb footballer and no one can ever replace Saint and Greavsie.

RIP Jimmy.

Couldn't agree more.
If Tyrone and Rashford ever stand for Parliament they will have my vote, much better than Priti Patel.

Hi Allyp.
So I am not the only one who thought that Wright used his arm to score the 3rd goal. I couldn't believe it when VAR didn't seem to take a look.

Hi Daz
I think this is probably the most important message ever put on this site.

Thanks and glad you are coming out the other side.
