Yes at £100,000 a week!
I wouldn’t have wanted him at that price.

2.) 01 Feb 2020 19:17:50
If he scores goals he’d be worth more than that imo.

There always a lot of talk on here about Deano and Terry, are they the right people for the job. Are they out of their league coaching Premier League etc.
But one person I'd like opinion on is Shakespeare.
How much do you think he's influenced the squad.
Should the board decide Smith has taken the club as far as he can would you ever consider him as a manager as he does have Premier experience or do you think he's the assist only type of coach.

How on earth was that Offside for Adams?

Two knees and a testicle (aka Maguire) was playing him on.

I wonder how long it will be that we see posts "My mate who is a reliable source, has just seen someone wearing a face mask but his eyes look like [insert player name], at Birmingham airport"

No doubt WTW will let us know he saw Mezut Ozil ordering 2 pickled onions in his chippy but little does he know that they are to replace his over bulging eyes anyway.

Not a clue, you tell us 👀.

What's p***ed me off the most isn't the result but "fans" slagging of Bamford for the hand gesture he does for his celebration saying it to symbolise the Zulus

If you do see. this, point the idiots. to Bamfords sponsor Hylo Athletics.

A player (hate him or like him) should not be associated fractions such as the Zulu's by mindless idiots.

A player shouldn’t pretend someone hit him in the face and throw himself on the ground to get another player sent off either but that’s his pedigree, and at it again last nite with his foot my word it looked like it was broken from his reaction to sticking it in the ground, so maybe people jump to conclusions, I didn’t make a connection to the zulus till I seen it in the press, only takes 1 person to mention it and press make a big thing out of it.

He was the one who went to China for £450k a week!
Imagine what he'd be asking now.

Would he get a work permit?
Where would he fit?
Davis replacement?
Would DS risk it?

I just think its bull.
he's supposed to still be in China due to travel restrictions back to Brazil.
We will be linked with every available striker as that what we need.

Check Twitter, he's on the training pics as is el gahzi.

Both Ramsey's and Chuckematchya trained with 1st team.

I honestly would not take any notice of this stat, although it's come from CIES Football Observatory (brilliant for stats) you have to take into consideration the current climate we have been
thrown into for the past two seasons.

C.V. has impacted if not all the premier teams where 1st team players (or whole squads) were forced to isolate and as a result they had to rely on the U21's to play in there place.

The stat is based upon game time from the last 30 games. Ours is 1.4% of game time for 29 games.
Top 5 are Wolves (16%), Sheff Utd (12.4%), Arsenal (11.3%), Dirty Leeds (8.7%) and Man City (7.8%)
Man Utd recorded 4.7% as did WBA, with Spurs, Palace and Fulham not giving game time to any under 21's.

Spain, France, Italy and Germany: Barcelona 15%, Monaco 14%, Verona 11.7% and Borussia Dortmund (28.5%) thanks to Bellingham, Reyna, Haaland and Sancho all under 21 prior to 30 March.

To see the states go to Football Observatory website and click the Best clubs for young players: global rankings.

How to get a run in?
Well looking at today you have to be consistently poor.

Traore was Liverpool's 12th Man.
You could see he knew he was out of his depth when he was hang over the hoarding in the first half.
Between him and Barkley they gifted Liverpool with attacking chances.
(Barkley lost the ball which went on to become Liverpool's winner)

I'd love to see Watkins and Davis.
Davis in a kind of Carew target man.
People forget he's 23 and not really been given his chance to shine, last week showed what he can do and 2up top would increase his confidence a lot more.
How many full 90mins (non cup) has he played?

Idealy I'd love to see a manager in place like Valverde (he was fuming when Barry left Barca), Spalletti, Allegri or even Sarri.

Valverde would be my first choice.

Don't get me wrong Smith has done so much for the club but unfortunately he hasn't got that appeal to bring big names or even the pedigree to take us further, I don't think any current UK manager would. Ok maybe one but he's quite happy at Leicester.

Questions for you all:
Do you think Smith is being prevented in bringing the u18/ u23s, especially Barry into the first team?

And is there a wait to next season, so teams don't get to know the strengths/ weaknesses until seeing them in a first 11?

Age, injuries and wage: 31 with a meniscus issue which will be a recurring injury plus 220-280k a week.
Compared to Abraham 23, younger fitter *probably* quicker injury recovery time, 80-120k per week.
