Lads how many points do you reckon will be safe this year in relegation? They always used to say around 40 points . Going on that we need 5-15 points out of 42 available . Hopefully can go on run like southampton and break away from bottom 6 teams . Its a crazy league 6 points off tottenham in 8th . Btw so proud of the lads never give up lasted night and showed true heart . A win against Bournemouth now and we can start looking up instead of down .

Not sure how many points we'll need. Last season Brighton survived in 17th place with 36 points. It's much tighter in the lower half of the table this season, so I would imagine we may well need 40 points.
On a positive note, for the last 6 league games we've achieved 10 points, if we were to keep that ratio up, we would finish on 48 points, which would be more than adequate. UTV.

I have just looked at our remaining fixtures, and I have to say they look pretty daunting, given that most teams are capable of beating each other.
Although he doesn`t know it yet, I think Samatta will have a big say in whether we go down or stay up.
And I honestly think there are as many as 8 teams below, that are all liable to have a losing streak, and could go down.
We have to play only 4 of them, all away from home.
We have 15 games left, 5 wins and 2 draws 17pts should see us safe
