Sounds like Carlos' move to Fenerbache is at risk of falling through according to reports in media.

Anyone know what's happened with the Philogene deal?
I think this needs to happen for us to be able to pursue our targets, along with the Carlos deal to Fenerbache.

Trinity if I was a betting man I’d say they are waiting until Malen signs on the dotted line to make sure we have a definite replacement, as soon as he’s signed his villa contract you can bet Philogene will be out the door in a heartbeat.
Looks like we are going to try do anywhere up to 5 deals this window, 2 of them being ones for the future mind.
Have you read about Forrest trying to sign luiz on loan? We should be all over him if he’s available

Obviously Malen, that RB from celta looks the business if we can get him, with Torres out injured we look shy of a left sided CB.
I’d give Buendia till the end of the season and if he’s not back to his best I’d sell him in the summer.
I’m surprised that no premier league team hasn’t tried to sign kyogo from Celtic I think he would thrive in the PL

I see we’ve been linked with CB from Sevilla but at reported £42m I can’t see that happening, pure fantasy, plus I think Liverpool might be sniffing around him as long term replacement for Dick.
We do need a replacement for Torres so I think it will be a CB.

Everton interested in Philogene. I'm afraid he has to go in my opinion.
Unfortunately this was one signing that has just not worked out for Villa or the player.

Any team that plays 45 mins of football that creates zero chances and loses the ball in silly areas of the pitch runs the risk of being undone. You could have the best back 4 in the world and they would be exposed in those circumstances. Clearly I'm not saying we have a world class back 4, but being caught out of position defensively due to losing the ball unexpectedly is very different to having an incorrect starting position/shape.
Amazing what happens when we function in both halves of the pitch.

The corner that never was got us out of gaol tonight. Even VAR (if it had been available) couldn’t have overturned it, which is bizarre.
Round 4 and a nice away tie somewhere like Derby or Sheffield Wednesday would do me.

Officiating no better in the Arsenal/Utd game.
Some quite dreadful decisions, mainly in Arsenal’s favour.
When are the officials going to punish Arteta for being outside the technical area. Not just stepping a foot outside but almost on the pitch.

Daz, one has to call out things that are obvious and in fact are proven statistically.
I watch a lot of reviews on YouTube and the vast majority have raised the same concerns over recent weeks.
I assume everyone who posts on here wants success for our club, I know I do.
Critical observations are part of what these sites are about. I hope no-one silences the valid criticisms as that will do more harm than good.
