Traore is an enigma for me, there are days he looks absolutely unstoppable but his end product had been missing this season. Saint Maximum is the player for me, he has all the Traore attributes but looks lethal in the final third.

I’d definitely take both but Bissouma I think is destined for bigger clubs than ours and unfortunately as Newcastle now appear safe I don’t think Saint Maximin is going anywhere if Bruce sold him he’d be lynched.

Maitland niles looking like could be available in summer. could be a good one for us to perhaps look at for midfield. young and hungry to play plus wants to leave arsenal so might be able to get a decent price?

Apparently Wenger rated him as a right back, so could perhaps fill in for Cash when needed, or potentially provide competition. A versatile player by all accounts, who if available for a reasonable price, could be worth considering Pricey.

I know there's a lot on here who don't rate Davis. but I really think without jack we need a slight change of system, as there's no one to replace jack, so change the system slightly. hopefully with Davis presence and link up play. could help make space for el ghazi and Watkins to exploit.
Plus nakamba and luiz in to make us more solid, cash back in so both full backs are outlets. gone with mcginn over sanson just because even though I've thought he's been lucky to not been dropped recently, just without jack think he has bit more of a maverick quality atm to him, so with dougie and marvellous behind him. might be able to offer more of a link to forwards. If Traore is available I'd have him in over el ghazi and switch him to rw and Ollie lw.

I know Ollie pretty much bagged in the end, but feel like we missed a trick by not taking trezeguet off for Davis as first sub instead of jj for sanson, Ollie wasn't holding it up at all against their physical cbs 🙈 feel like might of been better to move him on wing up against dummet and Davis for the physical battle that was going on in centre 🙈.

Totally agree there, the last few games have been crying out for someone to occupy the opposing centre backs and support Watkins. Without Grealish on the pitch we need someone to share the load with Watkins so that when he runs the channels, there's someone not allowing the other defender to just play as a free sweeper. Unlike some I actually still think he's got potential and needs a loan or consistent run of games rather than coming on for 5 minutes once a month, but either way, there's no point him being on the bench if we're never going to change anything up front and just hope that bringing on Barkley or Trezeguet (both been liabilities for a while now) makes a difference.
Frustrating couple of weeks but still huge improvement on last season, just need to hope for some major upgrades in the final third and next season could be special. Also huge credit to our defense who are now looking like they could develop into a very strong unit for seasons to come.

At least if looks like a good alternative to our normal kind of set up then shows we have another bow to our string, specially with Wes returning soon, and gives Davis a chance to show he can be a player rather then the odd 5/ 10 mins when chasing a game.

I’m inclined to agree with you DBS and Pricey.
I think the demands Deano has put upon Ollie this season are now taking their toll. I have always felt that KD could do a job for us, he’s never going to be a prolific goal scorer but he’s a quick, powerful lad who could be a handful for any central defender. If Jack isn’t available for the Tottenham game Pricey, I would go with Philogene -Bidace on the left, and let’s see what he can do.
I honestly thought he would be on the bench last night, as he didn’t feature in the u23 defeat to Fulham yesterday afternoon. If he’s not injured it would seem a bit odd leaving him out of the squad when he might have been able to help the u23 achieve a win. 🤷ðŸ¼
Are there any amongst us who still think we have a chance of getting into Europe? I would doubt it considering the levels of performance in recent games.
So if that is the case then, would it not be a good idea to see what the likes of Philogene - Bidace, Chukwuemeka, Barry, etc could do between now and the end of the season. I think so, how about you guys 🤔.

Yeah would definitely start putting the youth on the bench and actually using them. as like you, I think Europe is gone for this season, so ultimately I’d use the remainder of this season with one eye on next season.

Seem that potentially Hudson-odoi might be available on loan. if so then would love us to have a look at this, especially with johns connections. low risk move for a player for wing, better then both el ghazi and trezeguet. give us better options For season. and can also look at bringing in Rashica/ benahrama.

Great on the field, questionable off field behaviour, and lampard isn't happy with his lack of application, could do more with all his talent., maybe regular first team football with us might work, but I fear his 100 thousand + weekly pay is above us, especially if he starts to coast along, as is the way at chelski at the moment.

Would love to us to bang in a bid for cantwell now. him, tuanzebe and a holding cm. maybe more of a young up and coming one would be class 👌🻠IMO know cantwell seems not to be rated on here but I think he could be final piece for our attacking unit/ squad with jack going to be push on this year! 🤯.

From what I remember of Cantwell when Norwich were last in prem, I did actually rate him tbf. and at 23 he’s still got potential. yes he’s no grealish, but who is. but as a potential 3 behind Watkins of Bailey cantwell and buendia. still think that’s decent and good balance,
