Not posted for a while so hear goes. Last season we meandered early season rudderless and flattering to deceive on many occasions. We continually failed to put lesser teams away often snatching draws from the jaws of victory and losing against poor opposition. Our upturn came when our very own JG came back from his awful injury and took the league by storm. The club was transformed and we so nearly made it back to the Prem. Now the same manager that could not assemble a winning team early on last season is doing it again. Better still we have more attacking options and the most creative midfielder in the division. So our manager plays Jack on the wing! If I were sitting in the opposite dug out I would be overjoyed. Before it is too late get him out of there. Let Mark Delaney take over as caretaker he would carry more respect as a Villa legend. Get rid of the dinosaur stealing a living as a manager. To those who say that Steve Bruce is the answer then please let them tell me what the question is🤔.

Totally agree with you Jamdog you build a winning team from the back.
The first priority of a team is not to concede our defence is shambolic a right back playing left back the right back a midfield player and as for Jedi as CB what is Bruce playing at? As much as I like Jedi he’s abysmal playing there and Fletcher ran him ragged on Saturday and the goal their winner was because Jedi failed to deal with Fletcher that cross.
I saw this coming after the Brentford game when others thought that was a good performance it wasn’t defensively we were poor.
The championship had moved on in football terms Wolves proved that Until Bruce goes we will be a championship club for the foreseeable future.

Villa zero the problem with villa didn't come from one game its been going on for two years, I haven't been Bruce's biggest fan I gave him time but it hasn't worked, so what you can see from 1st game of season we would be in this position yeah right, its like you think people should pat you on the back for you seeing villas problems well done son.

The basics of coaching even junior football is to not only retain the ball but pass the ball and make the opponent chase. Sounds simple because it is. Flackie is spot on in that this needs the team to work as a unit. Move the opposition around the pitch allowing spaces to occur where they do not want them to. Move into the space push them back and move forward as a unit.

Hope that she is on the mend mate. On the subject of SB getting the bullet I will say this. Last season we began poorly and when Jack recovered from his kidney injury so did the team. Our performances improved and we looked a more effective unit going forward. Culminating in the Wolves game. That was our cup final he could not get us over the line and the this season. We ended a game with 4 count them 4 right backs on the pitch. The 4 4 2 experiment has not worked and he ditched the 4 5 1 from last season. This would allow our Jack McGinn Bolasie Hourihane El Gazi combinations to perform. He ran out of ideas and support in the dressing room anc boardroom.
