I'd give our transfer dealings a Dplus could of been better in my view missed to key areas in my opinion dm, and lb but overall decent signings not having a ball winner is going to hurt us we made a huge mistake there.

Luiz an nekamba are ball winners.

Luiz isn’t a ball winner, he does a job for the team because he’s asked to, that isn’t his natural position.

I have to say that I’m so happy we got Ings. I think because it was out of the blue was so pleasing but I’d have taken him all day long. He will get us goals and if I do say so myself will be a good replacement for Jack in terms of points, if that makes sense?

I would give our transfer dealings a B the only piece of the jigsaw missing is as we all know a defensive midfielder, that said however I would rather we wait to get the right player through the door than bring in a stop gap who in reality would probably be little better than what we already have.

I’d give a B+ for transfers, we spent the 100 million for jack, ffp has to come into it aswel, we spent big the last few seasons and financially it does us more good than harm to break even this year, can’t see this being our year I think we are building for next year if I’m honest, with the talent coming through the youths I think we are getting well set up for the next 10 years and stability has to be the main goal, I’d take top 12 this year and push from there.

I don't rate the transfer window much.

The squad is stronger but the first team weaker. There is a lot of talk of building us up for Europe but if that is the truth then this year was a huge step backwards. We spent about £103m and got £100m for Jack. So if Jack had stayed would we only have spent £3m in a push for Europe.

The owners have spent huge in the last few windows and I think they are realising that it is still a small amount to invest if they are serious for European football.

Personally, I don't think this ever was about Europe, it was about financial stability and buying players to add value, then sell on - business was the first option over Europe in my view. Which after the past decade is gratefully welcome.

The players we got in were good - well I don't get Ashley Young, and I don't get Tuanzebe when we said no more old players and no more loan players - but the 3 others are decent. Makes first team selection a bit of a nightmare but hopefully some can step up under the pressure.

A 'D' for me this window. We are nowhere near Europe but I don't think we need to worry about relegation - will finish similar to last year, maybe 10th if we are lucky. Which having taken 4 points from a definite 9 (if we are serious about Europe) doesn't look likely to me.

Gonna be great to see Bailey, Buendia and Traore this year. And I still think Watkins has 20 in him this year. All exciting stuff.
