He wouldn’t have deflected it if Torres controlled his zone, no response about the second goal where Torres was in no man’s land, to be honest if we had a striker we would of being 2 or 3 up at half time, we had loads of chances but unfortunately Watkins looks like his best days are behind him. if I had to blame 1 person for tonight it’s Emery, he talked about this game how serious we had to take it but he didn’t take it seriously, 7 changes we never play well 2 many mediocre players on the pitch, how on earth Gussand stayed on is beyond me he was terrible throughout apart from a scrappy goal.
Again my big worry is our striker situation, I love Ollie but he can’t make up his mind anymore, takes to long to decide and his finishing is terrible.

I genuinely am surprised that we're wasting our time debating about our defense when it's obvious that our ability in the final third was what cost us that game.
Emery also deserves a bit of stick for allowing Guessand to stay on the pitch in the second half. Woeful. First season, so we should allow some time for him to settle, but when it's not going well for him and we're behind, don't leave him on.like playing with 10 men at times.
Looking at the big picture though, I'd rather we get a reality check earlier than later in a tournament.
