Anyone who knocks this performance don't deserve to support Aston Villa it's as simple as that!

A positive result does not mean a great performance daz, our keeper was man of the match and they scored a perfectly good goal, I’m delighted with the result but it was hard watching at times. lots of positives to take away I’m not saying we were awful but lots of stuff we need to improve on and hopefully that will come, we have quiet a few players out injured so it’ll be a big bonus once they start coming back.
One player who was awful all night was rogers, he is going to cost us against better teams if he doesn’t find his mojo soon.
for me it was a very average performance, a brilliant result and hopefully another big confidence boost, to win when your not at your best is always a good sign, 3 points against Burnley now is super important.

I thought we controlled the 1st half and 2nd half was even better We've got to remember they hadn't lost at home all season so far played 7 won 6 drew 1and any win away from home in Europe is big.

I thought we played a lot of good stuff in the 1st half, dropped off for the last 5 or 10 minutes and came under a bit of pressure that we rode out.
We've had 80% possession keepball without a threat and now we have 50% possession end to end action. Plenty of room for improvement but boring or a hard watch it was not. We could always go back to the time where Budweiser used us and Bolton as an advertising gimmick for boring 0-0 football.
