i wish canaries fans would stay off the villa page, they have enough to worry about themselves, but no no they wanna come on here and have a pop at paul lambert,it seems eaten bread is soon forgotten to these yellow muppets, dont worry we will get out of the bad spell were going through.norwich wont and will go down with southhampton this season.

Believable3 Unbelievable10

And you only stayed in this league by the skin of your teeth last season, See you in May

Agree5 Disagree1

Us Norwich fans had to put up with you Villa fans on our message boards taunting us when you landed Lambert.....I am only reading your posts to get your opinion of Lambert, its almost funny, 5 months ago he was the best thing since sliced bread and now half of you would like to see him go.
I cant see you lot getting another point until December by which time you may well be bottom, how things have turned.
I think Norwich will stay in the prem (but only Just) and I will make my prediction on Villa at Xmas......After what Lambert did for Norwich he could have got us relagated and still been a legend, If he gets you relegated will you still love him?

Agree8 Disagree3

AND NOW NORWICH IN THE CUP !!!!

Come on u villaaaaaaa !!!

Agree4 Disagree7

Villa will need to improve if they hope to continue in the cup at Norwich, we were very lucky to get a draw at home, I am giving up hope of Lambert turning it round, time for a chang of manager.

Agree3 Disagree5

Thats the end of Villa's cup run, Norwich will be gunning for you and stuff the result up Lamberts ////////

Agree5 Disagree1

Why is it Villa fans and Norwich fans can not get on, we both support teams at the bottom end of the table, high time for some goodwill. I for one will make Villa fans welcome in our fine city on Dec 8th and again in May.

Agree6 Disagree1

Lambert being targeted by spurs

Agree4 Disagree1

As a Norwich fan I would love to knock Villa out of the Cup and stuff one up Sir Paul, It's nothing personal with Villa.
I will always be grateful for Lamberts achievements at Norwich and where he got us, but I also believe he owed us another year to really prove himself, to bring a team from league 2 to the prem and keep them there would be a real achievement.
I suppose I hold a certain degree of resentment towards Villa for stealing him but that's football.
You Villa fans will have the same feelings towards another club if he manages to bring you some success and a bigger club takes him from you...Enjoy it while it lasts.

Agree8 Disagree0

We showed you how to beat Man U....haha. Lambert,,,,,you can keep him.

I backed Houllier,McLeish & now Lambert.
Last season: we occasionally won a game & at least picked up a point in games.
Against Norwich: we were TERRIBLE! I think Mr Lerner needs to really dig deep in his billionaire pockets this January.
We need 2 GOOD wingers with PL experience & a commanding midfielder.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I am a Norwich fan and I am completly over £ambert leaving, I think we now have a manager in Hughton that will keep us up and build on the foundations laid by Lambert.
You need to remember Lambert inherited a Championship team playing in leauge one, he had time to build that team over 3 years. With Villa he has inherited a load of overpaid rubbish players with no hunger, it will be a blessing if you get relagated you can have a clear out and start again with young hungry players, the way Lambert operates best....Knowing Lerner if you are still strugling at Xmas he will sack Lambert and bring in someone like Steve Bruce, you will be Championship next year for sure with no return to the Prem anytime soon... {Ed003's Note - =-O }

Agree4 Disagree0

I think its fair to say that Norwich were the better team and didn't allow Villa the room to play, Villa got the goal against complete run of play, inexperiance cost Bennett his place on the pitch, I also believe the Ref was on your side, we should have been awarded a penalty, Last week we out played Arsenal so looks like we have got it right now and can only improve, You can Keep Lambert, Hughton is a better option The crowed is looking forward to the return in May at Carrow road,

We are a joke Norwich will go down and we are worse than them. Lambert has no clue a Sunday league manager could see Bennett was going to get sent off. Take off gabby when down to ten men so no pace as the outlet. Bent should be sold he says he wants to stay a villa prove it. He didn't even get off the floor to compete in the air just lazy get rid now. We are on big trouble my villa fans playing blues next year if they don't get relegated.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

When Norwich city Knock you out of the Cup next Month think that will signal Lamberts Fete

Bookies etc. are all writing in Villa for an early relegation BUT i still hold faith as in Paul Lambert we trust!
Midtable finish this season lads & hopefully a few more top quality players to sign for us in january.

PL will rid us of the devil

Believable0 Unbelievable4

We're awful one of the worst Villa teams i've seen ever.

Agree7 Disagree1

Lambert would have been better off if he had stayed at Carrow Road for another season and then go to a bigger better club than Villa, I bet you now if he don't get what he's after he'll be off, He is talking about top job is to stay in this league this season, He could have taken Norwich Higher this season and he is responsible for guiding Norwich to almost Debt free, that will happen in May, And proffit will mean just that

Agree3 Disagree2

Old Villa fan here, and I must agree that this shambles of a team is the worst I have ever seen. I watched our relegated teams from us winning the cup in '57 till now and yes this side is cra-! Lambert does not seem to have any idea but the players have little semblence of a cohesive unit. Do they train together?
Do they know the objective of the game. I remember Shaw and Withe spending time after training getting to understand each others moves so that on match days they knew what each other would doing at most times. Too many greedy (money) players and too little commitment. The forward line has had less efforts on goal than any other team in the 4 leagues, in fact the entire team has had less efforts. The total for the season to date is less than most teams in one game. Are they afraid to shoot? Seems so to me! Even Downing has decided to have a few long range efforts and with his right foot. Gabby is not the answer as he seems to think that he has a right to be on the pitch. One more word RUBBISH!!!!!

Agree5 Disagree0

I thought we played excellent and were very unlucky we loss if it wasnt for the sending off we would had won against a poor norwich side ,

Agree0 Disagree11

What match were you watching, Norwich were by far the better team and gifted you with a fluke goal, Inexperiance got Bennett sent off,

Agree5 Disagree0

Told you about £ent greedy git is off again

Its amazing, start of the season and all and sundry wanted to post on here, now the post bag is empty. What do we think about the team, the club etc. Recent review shows that we watch Villa at the cheapest price in the prem. Should we pay more and expect more? Come on guys, supporters or not? Fulham next, do we expect a result?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I would be happy with a draw, very possible but i think we may lose narrowly

Agree1 Disagree0

Further to that, Norwich will be a HUGE game. Both sides will need the points - failure to win that will have me very worried

Agree0 Disagree0

Our bench is getting stronger then the team !!!!

Agree1 Disagree0

It would be nice to see back to back victories as this hasn't happened in the league since May 2011. I believe we will beat Fulham 2-1 and Norwich 3-1

Agree0 Disagree2

Cant see any win against norwich city now they were great against Arsenal were have to rely on luck to win ths one

Another game, another defeat. The line it's a work in progress in wearing far to thin. Lambert needs to swallow his pride and play Bent.

Not much being said about our new "wonder kid" Benteke. What do we think?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Missed a sitter against spurs.

Agree2 Disagree0

Couldn't score in a brothel

Agree4 Disagree1

Rather have heskey up top, at least there was no expectation for him to score

Agree2 Disagree4

Rather have Heskey? Have some faith.

Agree4 Disagree1

Faith, blindness hmmmmm

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a gem in the rough he'll come good by next season
