Been watching the news unfold about Delph and got to say I think it's such a terrible shame and waste, I think it goes to show that footballers behave like MP's nowadays can't trust a word that comes out of their mouth! I think he made it worse we all the "villa is my club " " we want bigger and better things" speech !! But his not irreplaceable and will look like a very small fish in a big man city pond! And will end up on the bench as we have seen before with Milner and Barry! I think the fact Benteke is away in Portugal training with the lads is a good sign? And I hope he stays even if it's just 1 more season think we are owed a little loyalty as villa fans? On the upside another 2 new signings might not be Ronaldo or messi but some decent players in the team just got to get them working better together ! UTV

Think this is a big mistake for Delph he isn't as good as everyone was saying yea ok he looked good for a season in a poor team one of the worst teams I've seen down at villa what a waste for the lad could of made this move in another two years but now his career is over look what happened to Rodwell now his stuck up at Sunderland and who would wanna be up there 😂

agree,agree,agree, both chunkryan/rach123 he is a average player at best shame on him for telling all us villa boys how much in love with the villa I am very angry though that some idiot put that 8 mil get out pratt we will not miss him lads so let's get behind ts and team let them know how true supporters love our club buy some real talent and move on holt enders in the sky.

I feel very let down by delph not because of person going but the way his gone about it!
His replaceable but loyalty in football is dying every day and with it my passion for the sport! Hoping my boy changes direction cricket, tennis, golf anything but football!

I have a friend who fell out of love with the game because of this kind of thing and although I could sympathise, I could never imagine feeling the same

Hi all, first time posting here, I have been looking up everyday for villa news and have to say i'm totally fed up with it all now!! The Benteke will he won't he saga is doing my nut in! Go or stay although I don't see any one stumping up the 32 mil for him, maybe the fact the team was so poor made him look fantastic! I would be really surprised and a little hurt if Delph goes but football is all about money now and no one plays for loyality they play because they are ridiculously over paid and wrapped in cotton wool!! On the ownership side of things I think it would just be curtesy that the club let's us know what's going on . Who are we anyway after all only the people who pay and support the club? No fans, no ticket sales ? No merchandise sales ? No club . I've been a loyal villa fan for 35 years but all this big morse code drama is making me just not interested !! Then the sales team phone me every night to renew my season ticket !! Errrmm you want my money I would like to know what I'm paying for and who in paying to see!!
Rant over, up the villa, have a great summer
