Have been up to villa park today for Birmingham children's hospital party and one of the security/stewards confirmed Ellison has bought villa and the deal was done in January. Read into that what you like but it came straight from the blokes own mouth.
1.) If the club has already been sold, how come the club been publicly put up for sale?
2.) Only repeating what I've been told today, it could be rubbish but the guy seemed very genuine!
3.) Maybe he seemed genuine but why would a steward know what was going on behind the scenes?
I'll answer my own question: he wouldn't.
4.) Maybe Lerner didn't want us to think he sold villa behind our backs, rumours were out in jan we were up for sale and he denied it, but according to this comment that's when elison got villa
5.) Id been told by someone that 90 million was put into villas account in january it has to be a down payment

Just seen bid accepted for Ayew and watched a video of his goals. He looks the business and would love to see him as the beasts replacement, he seems to have it all, good in the air, strong and two good feet! Mind I remember a similar video of Tonev!!

Do you think Tonev has a future at the club? I had written him off for us after that racism issue he had last season, but am I right in saying he played and scored for us the other day.

To say I'm gutted is a total understatement, have we fallen that far behind everyone else that we can't keep hold of our best players. This is one villa fan who's not looking forward to the season ahead.

My team for this season 3, 5, 2 guzan, okore, vlaar, senderos, Richardson, delph, Westwood, cole (if fit) bacuna, bent, benteke. I think keane will give benty a well deserved kick up the arse! What do we think optimistic villa fans?
1.) That team would be boring westwood bacuna senderos bent not up to it, surly you would rather play the good young players
2.) I would play:
Guzan
Vlaar Okore Senderous
Richardson Westwood Delph Bacuna
Gabby Benteke Weiman
Have to play like that in my opinion
3.) Bent has looked sharper during pre-season.
4.) See we are 1-0 up at half time against Houston, though e haven't played particularly well. Goal from Joe Bennett. 10 changes to be made for the second half it seems.
On a different note, how can Everton who are even more hard up than we are afford to pay 20 million pounds for Lukaku?

We need to be realistic guys were not going to sign messi or ronaldo, what we have signed granted haven't set the world on fire but they all have premier league experience and are better than what we already have! UTV
1.) Senderos is no better than what we have. When you consider that what we have is Clark and Baker, it makes you realise how awful a signing he is
Rio was only discussed as an option but talk of him turning us down is absolute bs as there was no offer on the table anyway!
