Ed any news on a new CB? {Ed043's Note - there has been a number of rumours linking with a new centre back hwever there has been very little progress with this, as you know we hve been linked with lescott but this looks doubtful and also linked with ayala from norwich but these are both doubtful. we have also linked with Sascha Riether a german centre back but this is yet again only a rumour, i also believe villa need to strengthen out defensive line but wether lambert will look to do so is another matter as it seems he is keen to strengthen the attacking threat}

Ed Okay thanks any ideas who u think we'll sign {Ed043's Note - i personally doubt us getting someone at lescott's standard and should look towards clark and lichaj for the first half of the season and if we feel they arent ready for all the games look to buy players from other leagues such as the italian league and have seen a young players called Ogbanna from torino who looks a great centre back but villa has no real interest}

Ed yh he is good but there are big clubs after him at the moment {Ed043's Note - yes so he may also be beyong our reach as well, i personally think ollson should be considered to strengthen the depth of the defence}

Ed is there any rumours linking ryan shawcross with villa? {Ed043's Note - there hasnt been much linking us with him however we have recently been linked with ramis from real mallorca who is also a centre back who wants to move to the premier league and the vice presidant of mallorca has admitted there has been contact from a club which is likely to be us or sunderland}

Do you honestly think Norwich would do business with the Villa, And Ayala is in talks with Hughton discussing a new 4 year deal.

Ed i have heard we have for signed yahin brahimi the guy who plays rennes is this true? Thanks. {Ed043's Note - it has not been officially announced yet by either club however brahimis' agent has been reportedly seen in birmingham so it is still very possible for him to be signed soon on a loan deal with a possible purchase option at the end of the loan}

Ed do u know when his agent was reportedly seen? {Ed043's Note - i believe it was 2 days ago so this rumour may not be true however a number of sources claimed this}

Aston villa set to snap up matthew lowton from the blades also interested in lescott zaha sinclair snodgrass balde forlan poulsen and maybe james milner on a cheeky loan

I doubt we'd get forlan, but nice idea ans shows promise that villa is a club going forward.
