Coments on our next manager are just speculation at this moment. AVFC are keeping tight lipped on this one until it's done. What I can tell you is Mark Hughes will not be manager of AVFC next season. This has come from a high level villa contact. {Ed001's Note - Frank Rijkaard has put himself forward, I doubt he will be in with a chance, but he has definitely put himself up for the job.}

I have just come back from Barcelona with a school sports tour. There were some Bolton and West Ham Coaches out there doing sessions with the teams. I spoke to the West Ham chap (some coach - grey hair) who during a chat about his clubs fortunes suggested that Rob Green will definitely be with Villa next season for approx 5m and that Scott Parker is angling for a move to Spurs though nothing has been done officially on the Parker deal.
