Liam bridcutt could be next in at the villa has had several great seasons at brighton and lambert tried to sign him for Norwich friend who works at the Amex informs me he is waiting to see what the new manager has planned down on the south coast before he makes a decision on huis future

Believable5 Unbelievable7

Why are people disagreeing with this post I to have heard this come up a few times and I for 1 hope he does sign as Westwood is useless

Agree1 Disagree6

Norwich or Birmingham fan hitting on Westwood there. Jealousy reeks on this page

Agree3 Disagree0

Or even a Brighton or Bridcutt fan. I don't rate him, I don't think many see him as premiership standard to be honest.

Agree2 Disagree1

No mate I'm a villain through and through I think Westwood is amazing with the ball don't really rate him without itnimwas a bit strong saying useless but I think their is a lot of improving to be done on the other hand bridcutt was solid as a rock last year as brighton is my home town I watched them a few times at home and away and no matter where he was how much stick he got (he chose Scotland so deserved it) he was awesome and the main reason brighton got where they did
I lambert does bring him in I will expect a reply from you in 2 months time saying your were right mate until then shhhhh little boy as you have no idea what you are talking about

Agree0 Disagree2

You know guy's this is why supporters from other clubs enter this site, they often mock me and tell me how fickle AVFC supporters are, Westwood is still young and inexperienced at this level, not yet the finished item, but few Villa players are, as for Bridcutt, the only time I see him play is on a Saturday night on the highlights programme, and your right he looks good at that level, personally I would like to see Murphy at Villa, whatever happens, we should respect each others opinions, we do all support the same team.

Agree2 Disagree0

There is a reason he isn't playing in the EPL. That's the pure facts of it.

Aston Villa and AC Milan have offers accepted for Younes Belhanda. Villa have deals in place to move on the likes of Given and Bent and Lambert wants Belhanda in before Mondays return to training!

Believable6 Unbelievable10

How do u no this

Agree6 Disagree1

Several reports suggest this that villa will sign belhanda once some high earners are gone I wouldn't be surprised if he signs on deadline day

Agree3 Disagree7

The 2 offers appear to be from Villa and a Middle Eastern club.
If this is true wouldn't he choose us over playing there?
Only problem I can see is the reported fee.
Will Randy let the manager spend 12.5 million pounds on a player now he is trying to save money?

Agree6 Disagree1

I don't think RL has any problems spending big money on one player, as long as they are young enough to have sell on value, and belhanda defo has that

>Scg87

Agree7 Disagree0

From the signals i'm getting - Lerner is willing to spend IF he its a wise investment. Another player i'm hearing we have made contact about is Abdoulaye Ba of FC Porto (centre back) so i'd imagine we are shipping out possibly Clark unless he fills in a midfield role now.

Agree8 Disagree3

He's not trying to save money he's trying to balance the books, if all the unwanted high earners leave then their wages would cover the transfer fee alone.

Agree9 Disagree0

The fee is 12.5m in euros which is 10.7m in pounds

Agree7 Disagree1

The fee appears to be 15m euros.

Agree2 Disagree8

Whatever it is, it's a lot of money.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ref to Scg87, players sell on value: I normally agree with your comments, you may be right, but I'm not so sure of this one, Belhanda is unproven in the EPL, and a number of players from French L1 have not been as successful here as in France. I'm sure MON will have told Uncle Randy that Ireland was a sound investment, look how that turned out.

Agree1 Disagree2

Yeah Belhanda is unproven in the premiership, he also won the player of the year in france and helped Montpellier to the title. That same year we all saw how good he was in the champions league as well. I have no concerns about him being a star for villa or any other team that signs him. He's got the ability no question.

{Ed029's Note - Rumours tonight Belhander is off to Dynamo Kiev

Montpelier chairman has said today that there has been 2 concrete offers which they have accepted for belhanda and it is up to him to decide which 1 he picks the chairman doesn't say who the 2 clubs are but hope 1 is us at least we will soon no if it is us.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Kiev and uae club

Agree3 Disagree10

He did actually and they were Tottenham and Newcastle

Agree2 Disagree5

Where do you get Kiev from?
Presumably you mean Dynamo Kev and they haven't been mentioned at any time.
Have you been on the sauce?
Anyway why would he want to go there?

Agree5 Disagree2

It is dynamo kiev actually mate. he would go there because they could pay him literally whatever he wants. they are oil rich.

Agree2 Disagree2

It is actually kiev mate and could be his destination as they are mega rich so could pay him whatever he wants

Agree1 Disagree5

Yes they have so get your facts right

Agree1 Disagree4

Actually they said 2 bids made for Tottenham and Newcastle target.
Read the full story properly you fluffy bunny!

Agree3 Disagree3

Boy's behave, there are 3 different reports.

Agree3 Disagree1

And if I wrote a story to sell papers you guys would have brought it along with all the other lazy journalism speculation they spew out

Agree2 Disagree0

Who ever said Kiev on this post, fair play to you! you obviously know the right people! Got it spot on! Not at all disappointed thought, Belhanda seemed like a real money grabbing prick! Good luck to ya, don't need or want you at the Villa with an attitude like that! 'I want Premier League opportunity' - so he chooses a refugee-second grade european league side! Wow!

Leeds United and England u21 defender Tom Lees linked with future move to Villa.

More to follow in up coming weeks

Bannan likely to leave the club within the next 10-14 days.

Believable8 Unbelievable5

Lees hands stated he would only move to big and successful club not one fighting relegation

Agree4 Disagree6

Clearly a dirty Leeds fan! Villa are a big club and although we were in a relegation battle last season, things are looking up for the future with our young and hungry squad taking shape. A great environment for any up and coming player who actually wants to get a game!

Agree5 Disagree4

If 'Hands has stated. ' is true, why would PL waste his time (and the club's money) on such a pipsqueak upstart? Be off with you, young man and find employment where your immature outlook on life 'ME, ME, ME!' would be better valued such as a reality tv show, perhaps? Now. go away.

Agree6 Disagree3

Who says we are fighting relegation the season hasn't even begun yet.

Agree6 Disagree2

Well look at the season odds for relegation battle you vile lot are 5th favourites to go Down so the 3 that went up are there the3 ones then you have stoke so it clearly dates it and I'm a Leeds fan saying this :)

Agree2 Disagree3

Vile lot. Is this conversation about football or has someone declared war or even something worse? calm down buddy, a bit to angry!

Terms with Belhanda have been agreed and the transfer fee is close to being agreed. The holdup is offloading Bent, Given and Ireland before it can be completed. Bent to Newcastle is close, Ireland is not convinced Stoke is the right move and after the sale of Mignolet, sunderland are looking at Given as he's a proven replacement. PL has also lodged an interest in Wanyama and is also monitoring Lescotts position at MC.

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Damn, this is a lot of rumour in one post, if it's anywhere near accurate, well done!

Agree10 Disagree0

How do u no about the belhanda deal because there has now been 2 offers accepted do u no for definite if 1 is ours

Agree9 Disagree1

Given would never become a mackem, you clearly no nothing about football and the rivalry between Newcastle and Sunderland.

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't think Given would be to worried about the rivalry. Concerns are likely to be first team games & money mainly, after all he is a footballer.

Agree1 Disagree0

Has there never been a player that's played for both clubs then?

Agree1 Disagree0

He was on loan at the mackems before going to Newcastle

Any news on belhanda??

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Hes not coming Lambert said it himself

Agree3 Disagree10

Last I heard Lambert didn't want to sign him

Agree4 Disagree5

Its understood Lambert wants an attacking playmaker. What I am hearing is Villa need to get the big earners off the wage bill before considering bringing such a player in.

Agree9 Disagree1

Where did Lambert say he didn't want Belhanda? The Bham Mail speculated that he doesn't wnt him, but Lambert has said nothing!

So the Jed Steer deal has been agreed, Norwich keeper joining on a free next week.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Congratulations to our fellow Villa supporter who called the Jed Steer transfer several weeks ago, someone on this site with a proper rumour, perhaps you can tell us who's in next?

Agree10 Disagree0

Yeah fair play to him. Then some other wolly was like your wrong we are ggetting ruddy. 2 fingers up mate

Agree6 Disagree0

That was me my friend who mentioned Steer a while back. I'm hearing Lambert is out for a new #10 sort of player - another young "Kaka" sort of player. A proper middle of the pitch playmaker like Belhanda, of which we were turned off by his price tag.

Agree7 Disagree4

If you carry on with rumours this accurate, we are going to have to invent a secret code so we know it's you and therefore believe the possibility, as opposed to most of the other invented drivel.

Agree9 Disagree3

The #10 player i'm hearing might be Hiroshi Kiyotake, who we have Nuremberg over his availability I understand. I'm also hearing something about Brown Ideye who is a striker.

Agree6 Disagree1

Re Kiyotake: never really payed much attention before, I've just watched 30 mins (only) of him, I can see why PL would consider him, to be honest I think he would be a better fit than Belhanda, I know many will disagree, don't get angry it's only my opinion.

Agree1 Disagree0

Brown is similar to Benteke, which is a bit of a worry, but he does have a cooler haircut, I think!
