Let's not get carried away with yesterday's result it was good it was just what was needed.
My biggest concern was our inability to keep a clean sheet at yesterday's game and kill Norwich and other teams off and this is what will prevent us from getting promoted.

I hope I'm wrong but from what I have seen this season and in preseason so far we will have another season like last year finishing in mid table having runs where we are good and picking up points then going on winless runs playing the crap going nowhere football we have seen at Cardiff and reading.

I agree but i think this season the kids can make a difference home form we will always be good which is great but away we are awful. I actually think its in there heads now as Bruce as made such a big thing of it if we win 1 away we might be ok. Bruce has more lives than a cat yesturday he said we had to win to shut "them lot up" which I thought was bad we pay a lot of money to go away and when the performances aren't there we have right to moan 1 win doesn't change anything get us top 2 then we will talk but slate the fans and you won't be here long.

By that same token, yesterday could well be the touch paper the club needed.
Goals, youth, and (according to my dad as I wasn't there) finally a killers instinct.

I've been told it could of finished double figures? That there was no sitting back, and really they went for the throat.

Maybe that was exactly what was needed. A wake up call. For me, Tuesday is massive. I do think the cup is meaningless, but momentum is everything. Another win, and goals, hopefully a clean sheet. and we can move forward.
A loss, and yesterday is forgotten.

Sat back for max 10 minutes, conceded an then got straight back at them, our goals came at the perfect time to push us out and destroy their momentum. Makes a change normally we sit back for about 70 minutes.

Definitely Flackie. Momentum is key but the truth is that yesterday Conor was played in a no 10 roll where he could do his thing. Davis and Green were willing runners and Elmo and Taylor gave more options. Whelan and Terry were better than I have seen so far. So a couple of pieces of the Villa jigsaw are in place still lots of work to do. Looked like we had a system that worked yesterday and CH was a leader.
