I can tell you now 100% Benteke will not be at Villa come the start of the new season.
I can't reveal my source as current Villa player but his squad No has been offered to said player.
Looks like Spurs will finally pay what we want for Benteke and hopefully Lambert will receive the full funds to reinvest in a replacement and a creative midfielder.
Sorry to any of you still holding out in the hope Benteke will stay another season but it just will not happen.
1.) If he doesn't want to play for us then he can sod off, I really hope he warms the bench somewhere else
2.) There has been a report today in another London based paper -what a surprise-that Benteke wants the move to Tottingham completed by Thursday as he doesn't want to come back to Villa. I'm not surprised as he is probably too embarrassed to face the manager or the players after his pathetic antics. However, to me, this business shows no sign of being resolved any time soon and certainly not by this Thursday so welcome back Benteke. A big dose of humble pie is going to be in order I should say.
3.) Typical sell your best player before a ball is kicked yorke? young?downing?platt? bosnich?we'll never break out of mediocrity until players including benteke are told they WILLfulfil signed contracts before moving on elsewhere

6.) Cant reveal your source, it does not take a rocket scientist to work out benteke won't be at the club, however squad numbers already been given out, so unless you know a new signing that is coming in and he already been given his number then you are well and truly full of s---e.
7.) With player numbers usually changing quite a bit & #9 freed up by DB9. Your reasoning is faulty beyond belief

9.) Wouldn't want him now anyway. Once they slap that request in its never the same. Was hoping benteke would be different and give us another season, but it just shows what footballs all about. Spurs can have him, because when a bigger club comes in he will be off again.
10.) You never know - Lambert might get in his ear like the Belgian team & Kismet has & tell him to do some good & admit he's been tapped up!

We are currently in negotiations with Aalborg for their promising young striker Nicklas Helenius. This guy looks to have a great technique and an eye for goal. What I have seen of him would fit in perfectly to our style of play but the question is to supplement what we already have or as a straight replacement for Benteke?

He had enough chances and blew it time and again. Absolute waste of space.
Was getting excited about this rumour but struggling to find any credible source to this but now kingvilla has now backed the rumour then clearly this is never going to happen.
Get a grip the side put out in the first 60 minutes was more like the reserves and don't forget all the players rested with knocks are still to come back. Unless you have something constructive to say then shut it.

What you on about, the guy never stops running and hustling for the ball and in the early part of the season was an example to the younger players. Unfortunately he doesn't suit Lamberts style of play but will do somebody a good job. Well done Lambo with the early transfer activety now time to get rid of the dead wood and high earners so we can complete some further signings and I guess there would be 1 big surprise transfer still up his sleeve.
