It would appear that certain board members are split, doesn't look good.

14 Sep 2017 10:05:08
Whys that then?

14 Sep 2017 16:39:46
I think they've started sniffing around other managers, testing the water.

14 Sep 2017 16:53:51
What makes you think that?

Rumour going around bruce going to be sacked 2night an karanka fav for job.

13 Sep 2017 15:12:21
Where is this so called rummor coming from?

13 Sep 2017 15:25:22
Villa10-brucie has come out and said when asked about being sacked that they'll have to ask the board, whether he stays or goes, a decision needs to be made now, because uncertainty never does anyone any good, other names being touted are pardew and guidolin (ex-swansea), it also seems steve round favours galtier, IF he does go, i'd go hoddle with sherwood as his assistant, seems its another death by a thousand cuts, we're getting like cardiff used to be, every week, something else crops up!

Heard the Dr is coming over weekend for talks?

13 Sep 2017 16:14:08
Oh-oh!

Classf82

I like the idea of hoddle with Sherwood as his number 2,
Sherwood does work with kids well and that's what we need,
Hoddle would be a good tactics wise,
We will see after these games coming up to see where we are going.

Well that should be good for the anti bruces! the amount of chances that went begging last night was unbelievable. boro didn't have an answer apart from to sit back. So how was that bruces fault if the players are not putting away the chances. Short of putting it in the back of the net himself. I believe we deserved something from that game. Had lansbury not got sent off think it would have been a win for us. I for one don't blame bruce for last nights result. Players have to look at themselves.

13 Sep 2017 22:32:31
Bang on the money Claret.

14 Sep 2017 10:10:22
Doesn't matter how we play or how many chances we create some will still blame Bruce Clarat, same was said after we had chance after chance against Hull. Against Cardiff, Reading and Brentford we were awful, some of them you can blame the tactics but if the players can't complete a pass 10yards then they have to take some blame. But the drama queens will force yet another manager out, Bring in a new one who will immediately be the messiah, after the honey moon period they will one the new manager out and the cycle will continue. Don't want to give up already but we a damned to this division for the time being, it's like some fans want to boo and want the team to under perform so they can moan, no matter how we play they blame the manager - that negativity spreads onto the pitch. It's hard when the club, the players, the manager and 80% of the fans are pulling in one direction and the rest of the fans are determined to stop us going anywhere.

I think most fans want him to succeed, its the ones'at villa park who are the wildcard i reckon, hopefully the lads will go the extra to show their loyalty to the gaffer, if that doesn't do it, the sharks will start circling.

Not one person can slate Bruce tonight; right tactics, right team, right substitutions how we never won tonight is beyond me what a absolute twit Lansbury is if we had kept 11 men I am in no illusion that we would have won we are not far off play offs point wise with King Kodja back now WE WILL CLIMB THE TABLE #INBRUCEITRUST.

13 Sep 2017 15:28:54
Absolutely bang on the money villadaz. everything in that post is spot on and sums it up perfectly. pity bout lansbury i feel we would have got something out that game. we certainly deserved to. k.
