Another win and another clean sheet . Great to see Hogan come on and straight away, get involved and get his goal . Wigan today proved one thing for us, we have to play Jedinac in midfield . Gardener just not at same level, some of his passes sounded a bit suspect as well. When a team like Wigan, can cause us trouble in midfield, it shows something is wrong . But as I said,3 points and clean sheet, brilliant . Onwards&Upwards Villaforever.

Didn't cause us trouble in midfield, long ball into Bogle who used his body well caused us trouble. Gardner and Jedinak both had two very suspect moments but 3 points all that matters!

chris, they caused us problems mate, fact.
They had the possession, they had double the attempts, and double the shots on target.
It was a great result for us and other results went our way, I am happy as larry but come on.

All that matters is 3 points so what they had more possession and more shots? We won it's all about putting the ball in the back of the net I'd rather win ugly than lose playing Brazil football.

I agree with you about the three points daz, and Who said anything about Brazilian football, I am trying to make a point to another poster who said they didn’t cause us any problems in midfield, All I am doing is agreeing with Davedean, they did cause us problems, and so they should its eleven v eleven after all.
Don’t come that tosh about playing ugly, we all want good football and a winning team, if you don’t mind ugly you have a problem.

I want good football and a winning team but I'm afraid it's not going to happen in this league you have to scrap and fight for every point so if that means winning ugly then so be it I'd rather be in the premier league playing Brazilian football and winning games than this league, So if a team has more possession and shots so be it as long as we have a W by our name at the end of 90 mins and if that's a load of tosh well I would grow a beard kidda.

They did cause us problems, I said "they didn't cause us problems in the midfield" which they didn't, a long ball evading both ours and their midfield into boggle and goufran doesn't really involve the midfield.
