Why on earth are the players getting the weekend off? They looked like like a semi-pro team against Liverpool and are miles behind 19th placed Sunderland and this deserves a break? Shocking!

I don't like the Klingon, think his attitude stinks, his 'professionalism' is an embarrassment and his lack of a football brain is comical, but, I do agree with him on one thing, Stan collymore is a complete tool.

Someone has already mentioned it but this is meant to be his club. never put a foot wrong with the fans of his other clubs!

hi villa fans right he's a idea instead of moaning how screwed up we are at the top with lerner an co why don't we try somethink last home game of the season which is newcastle a nothink game why don't we all not go leave the stadium empty! The only way you will get your point across to randy lerner is to hit him in he's pocket its only one game but it will show him we mean business! you can hold your silly banners up all you like but he is in america he don't watch nor here us only way you hurt this guy is in he's pocket! liverpool fans tryed somethink similar and guest what it worked 70 min they left empty stadium next day the board backed down! Also might give him food for thought as he thinks about season ticket prices for next season! NO MORE SILLY BANNERS OR CHANTS HE isn't HERE HE can't SEE OR HERE YOU! THE PLAYERS don't LIKE US THE BOARD don't LIKE US SO WHO ARE WE SUPPORTING? COME ON PEOPLE YOU GOT TO BE CRUEL TO BE KIND GIVING LERNER MONEY IS JUST ENCOURAGING HIM!

18 Feb 2016 04:42:14
are you trying to say for the newcastle game don't show up?

18 Feb 2016 11:33:20
I reckon by then NUFC will also be down! If not they will really tear into us after our compassion towards them when they went down 'who's your next saviour Ant &Dec! ' Can't see a mass stay away for the last game and the payers parade at the end will be interesting! Not sure any of the brave enough players will have WAGS and kids tagging along?! I still think main protest and banners should be towards the board in last day!?

18 Feb 2016 11:46:00
And achieve what in the process?

18 Feb 2016 12:06:06
Will make me feel better for one and not just passively roll over and take this lying down! I am sure RL wants to get permanently far from B6 but any delusions the rest of the board harbour they will stay with any new owner should be short lived. Until last day and last day still happy to party though!

I haven’t seen his personal bank balance recently, but I I don’t somehow think that Lerner is down to his last dollar nor, for that matter, needs to pay for his weekly shop off the back of Villa’s income. According to the 2016 Midlands Rich List (not sure why he’s on it since he is never seen in the Midlands), Lerner is worth just shy of a billion quid, so I can’t somehow imagine that the experience of one of his lackey’s delivering the news that a few thousand Brummies walked out of a Villa game is going to make him choke on his caviar. In order to dramatically effect Lerner you would need to persuade most fans to stay away completely, thus impacting the value of the club ultimately to the point of worthlessness. The danger of that is that you could then end up in a Bolton-esque situation whereby you are selling off the car-park in order to pay the wages and, in the meanwhile, Lerner’s billion is still sitting pretty in the bank. If he closed our precious club down tomorrow, he would still have a billion in the bank and that’s why he doesn’t care. I agree with Flackie that we should at least try and restore some pride to the club by being the best supporters we can be to the last game of the season, and then the best supporters in the Championship until we come back up again.

Are we seriously saying that we are that fickle and glory hungry that when things don't go as we want we stay away, turn our backs on the team and give up?
Is that not the point of being a supporter? It's more than being a fan.
I agree things are crap, worse than we deserve, or ever had nightmares about.
But if we stay together, through this, won't the success around the corner taste even better?

We should look at Citeh. In old second division, still crowds of 35k+
(How some naive villans dared to sing 'where were you when you where siht?' To them the other week is beyond me!)
There is the blue print!
Boycott?? No thanks. This is my religion, in my blood.
Rough, and smooth.
Disagree, laugh, say what you want.
I will go, always, INSPITE of the powers that be.

18 Feb 2016 20:00:13
Lol, you can only say that now you have a decent car!

Fully agree though mate.

18 Feb 2016 20:11:42
You only agree as you get to ride in comfort now

18 Feb 2016 20:44:37
The problem with the talk of Boycotts due to Lerner (who I loath by the way) is that you are, in a way, defining the club by the owner. The club should be defined by the fans, the club is an idea that will endure way beyond Lerner's tenure
I'm with Flackie and Mr Wisdom. We need to be as good fans as we possibly can under the circumstances, endure the disappointment of relegation and savour the sweet taste of our return when it happens.
