Obviously we can still finish fourth, however isn't a good job that Chelsea and Newcastle have found their form too late. If they had both started their runs four games earlier the top five could have looked a lot differently.

If we didn’t have a blip in middle of the season we would be challenging for the title. We are where we are on merit

If such a little word but with such big implications. As AVFCTOM95 says we are where we are on merit and come what may it has been a brilliant season. I just hope we don’t end up losing our final games and Spurs take something off City and score a hatful against Sheff Utd and Burnley that would be a crying shame.

Lots of if’s for us aswel, if’s don’t put points on the board though, enjoy what we done well instead of picking at our bad bits, a league is 38 games, no more no less, we had a great 2/3rd’s of a season, next step in development is to find that consistency across 38 games and challenge for a title.

After tonight’s result I really hope we don’t need to get something against Palace on the final day because they are flying at the moment ?

Although on the positive side it’s always great to see the Mancs get a thumping ???
