So not a meltdown from me but trying to be balanced, we played some nice stuff unlike when we lost against Chelsea and Newcastle and looked a threat out wide on both sides of the pitch in fairness, and it was good to see that the poor results against Newcastle and Chelsea hadn’t dented the teams confidence, however on the debit side, unlike other teams like Utd for example when we go behind we struggle. People worry about our high line I’m more concerned re our vulnerability at set pieces. I can’t understand why we persevered with Kamara marking Maguire a total mismatc in my view. Ramsey’s performance was Jekyll and Hyde great at finding the space between the lines but decision making after that was poor.Finally and controversially I guess when we get chances against the better sides you have to take them Watkins had two glorious chances and hit the keeper both times I know his record on paper looks good but it’s fine scoring one or two against the likes of Fulham or West Ham it’s scoring decisive goals against your Arsenal’s, Liverpool’s etc that are going to make the difference between finishing in the top 4 or 7th and 8th. That said onto the next one.

Careful LOTM I said exactly the same about our marking at corners and Whack called me an idiot.
Everyone has right to an opinion but that’s one win in 6 games I believe.
We played some good football right upto the point we scored. I would then expect us to go for it but we didn’t. We looked nervous and seemed to play right into their hands with our dithering.
We had them but blew it again.
Sick and tired of losing to them. No matter how well we’ve played they always find a way.
Was shocked with one stat, last year was the first time we’d beaten them at VP since 1995. They certainly have the wood on us.

Good balanced analysis lotm, the performance was a huge improvement on Newcastle and Chelsea, we needed to be more clinical we had huge chances, Ollie should of had at least 1, the best saves onana made he never had to move, Bailey coming off was a mistake it took huge pressure off united, good to see the bench beefing up a bit with players coming back from injury, next 4 or 5 games are huge but I think today’s performance against a united team hitting a bit of form will give us confidence going into easier games, we dominated them for most of the second half but our finishing let us down, I was glad to see Ramsey getting the start I think he gave us lots of energy but like you said his decision making inside the box let him down but that will improve I reckon, to be fair he hasn’t had much game time. hopefully Torres is fit enough to start soon, his passing will make a huge difference

So you played at pro level and coached but yet at the age of 44 you have to work overtime on Sundays, must of being a very successful career you had, maybe your understanding of the game had something to do with where you ended up.it’s the lies that bug me the most. you showed up on this page a couple of months ago after another poster of the same ilk disappeared. you wonder then why you can’t be taken seriously

Yeh it’s a similar type of dribble he spouts. Scot gets some stick on here for some of his posts but Scot is pretty consistent and usually has some structure, this guy just rambles and constantly changing like the weather, we’re going to win everything when we are going well but have a few bad games and it’s end of the world doom and gloom.
Result didn’t go our way yesterday but the performance was there, fair enough the first half corners hurt us but other than that it was a huge improvement, fatigue played it’s part in the last 10 mins and finishing should of being better
