Carlos is too casual without backing it up, we lost balance with Konsa going to right back.
Despite that, we're showing signs of a top team. Start with a team that controls 70-80% possession and doesn't panic if they get caught out. Bring on the unpredictable players when the opponents start to tire and then rip the opposition apart.
We haven't played a top half team outside of Arsenal but I think we're definitely showing we can challenge for that top 4 spot again.

Whilst RK very rarely agrees with me, however i totally agree with him regarding Carlos and Konsa. Konsa is the rock in the central defence, he covers for Torres lack of pace, when he plays right back the balance of the defence is out of kilter. I thought Wolves did well negating both Ramsey and Rogers, who both struggled in the first half, probably like most of the team. Maatsens pace will help cover Torres lack of pace, so Torres can continue even when Mings is back, Digne lacks pace so it's Maatsen for me. Berkeley, Duran completely change the balance of the side, so when Kamara is back I think Onana may struggle to start. I think McGinns time is up as a starter when everyone is fully fit, however an asset on the bench towards the end of a game. I think it's time to try Ollie and Duran from the start if only as an experiment. And finally to our wolves friends how long before you change your manager.

Duran when he starts vs Duran off the bench are chalk and cheese.
I know we've conceded first in a couple of games now but we still look in control and assured.
If we start with the players who create but can't keep the ball often enough then we could easily be losing comfortably or at least be tiring in the second half.
Watching that second half we actually lost the ball quite a lot, especially through Barkley and Duran, but at least Wolves were too tired and disjointed to do much about it.

RK, you really need to get a dose of live football, you must be the only one who didn't see how Barkley and Duran performed. Objectively is great bias isn't.

Whilst I agree that we lose something centrally when Konsa plays at right back, I think when Cash is fit he will play. I know some on here have concerns about him defensively but he does create at the other end and whoever has replaced him doesn’t do enough to create overloads down the right, and whilst to date most of our opportunities have come down the left hand side we need to do better on our right and Cash will help address that deficiency. Onana will start even when Kamara is fit, based on his performances to date he has been one of our best players. The only way Kamara will get straight back in is if Tielemans plays further forward, and Roger’s plays off the left replacing Ramsey. Not sure with McGinn as when everyone is fit it seems to me it’s a straight choice between him and Bailey and it may well be dependent on the opposition as to who plays.

Scotty, let's not get back to the soapbox of being more important because you were there. It's actually easier to objectively see things from the cameras.
Both players did good things but don't pretend like you wouldn't have absolutely battered Barkley if we got punished from at least one of the 2 times he got too easily dispossessed with not much cover behind him.
It's a squad game and we need people who can be effective off the bench, Barkley would struggle as a starter in our team as he doesn't have the physical runners around him like he had at Luton.
I love Duran but his game doesn't have the maturity to be a starter yet. He struggles with patience and that leads to a higher number of possession turnovers and a high risk of yellow cards.

Scott you’ve spent 5 years telling people Mcginn isn’t good enough, since then he’s captained us to the champions league. Maybe it’s time you dropped the ego, found some self awareness, and got a dose of love football as you put it. Sometimes you have to accept you got something wrong, or you’ll get nowhere in life.
