Great result and the way we ground it out was impressive as we certainly weren't at our best today or anywhere near it and you couldn't have argued too much if the result had gone the other way. We started well but once we scored we allowed Arsenal too much possession I don't know why, consequently they grew into the match became more confident which made our life more difficult than it should have been. We also tended to overplay in our own third we got caught out several times Carlos this time being the main offender playing short balls possession turned over leaving our back four exposed. The other thing I don't understand is why Bailey is on corners given Luiz's ability from a dead ball I can only assume they think Luiz is more dangerous at around the 18 yard box which is fine but if that's going to be a regular feature then Bailey, s delivery needs to be better. Having said all that though great performance and result nice gap to 5th place, onwards and upwards if we beat Brentford and Utd we might go into the New Year top of the table, what a thought.

I have just posted but I was taking to stefan Moore last week and he's actually worried for the villa. Apparently emery runs it from top to bottom so if a bigger job turns his head we are likely to be 50 people down who support what emery wants
