Just a quick note on Christian Benteke who left our great club claiming that he wanted Champions League football upsetting many fans at the time, you may have been the final nail in our premiership coffin but even if Liverpool beat Sevilla in the Europa League final and thus qualify I don't think that you will be a part of the squad to compete in it. It is a lesson to him and indeed all other players in the future that not all that glitters is gold as his move to Anfield must be considered a failure.

Are we really saying we blame, and indeed think Big Ben was wrong in leaving?

Did he leave with us wanting him to fail? Not me, I feel he did all he could for us, and was honest regarding his aspirations.

The guy we should all point at, blame, and laugh at his amazing fall from grace is a certain Fabian 'I'm here for the fight' Delph.
His antics, lies and the way he put two fingers up to his fellow team mates, coaches and us is what finally destroyed us.
We had no back bone or belief after this dirty snake.

Flackie, I actually said that he MAY of been the final nail in the coffin, that implies that there were also many more nails that contributed to our down fall, he just being the final nail. Also I don't blame him for leaving I merely said that all that glitters is not gold, meaning what sometimes looks the best option often does not turn out that way.

I agree with Flackie.
We didn't actually have to sell Benteke to Red Scouse as they did not activate the clause in his contract that would have made it impossible for us to stop him.
The club wanted to sell him; I'm sure he was happy to go, but the club allowed it to happen. His clause said anyone offering £32 million in CASH could activate his release clause. Liverpool offered that amount but it was in staged payments. In other words, the clause was never activated. We willing negotiated a deal with them.

All this double dealing or dual personality seems pointless, it's like having an argument with yourself and losing.
Suggest that the culprit changes his name to wan. villan as this will reflect his true image!

It was interesting to see how quickly people were ready to condemn me so thanks for all the kind remarks. By the way I told you all some time back that the club was sold and the manager was in place to be announced at the end of the season, well it's the end of the season and lo and behold an announcement is about to be made about new owners and new manager. Was nice sharing my information with you anyway and i hope it reassured some of you during a period of much uncertainty and we can all look forward now to better days ahead.
